Buy these, You can't go wrong.

You could buy one original Gateway power supply (which is probably shipping you this one anyway) or, for less money you can buy 10 of these. In time, you will have another non-working Gateway supply or maybe 8-9 of these still brand new ones on hand.

I have been using one for about a year now and it is still working fine plus I have another one sitting in the drawer for when I need it. No down time.So you do the math, original Gateway or a couple of these. If you have money to burn, buy the gateway. If you want to make sure you have uninterrupted power, but a couple of these.

Note that it is very similar to other chargers that overheated and burned out within 30 minutes (appears to be made at the same factory). But those were refunded by Amazon, so no complaints. Bottom line, this one is cheap but probably will serve the purpose.

Good Functional Replacement Power Supply

This inexpensive replacement power supply brought my Gateway MA-3 laptop computer back to life. The original that it replaces is lost so I can't compare directly. The new one may have a shorter AC input cord, but other than that it works like the original. I've had it for several weeks and it's working fine.
