Not bad at all for price

Bought this for my son's 13" chrome book. There is a smell when you first get it but after a while it does go away. There are pockets where the handles are so it fits not only the charger for the chrome book but you can put other things in as well. The outside pocket is almost as wide as the bag itself.

Eye-Catching Laptop Bag; Would Love for More Padding on the Handles and Shoulder Strap

The Lavievert Linen Canvas Bag is a great laptop bag, perfect for protecting your laptop and other small tech devices in a compact and fashionable way.

Starting off with the packaging, I was instantly impressed with how much effort Lavievert put into it. Over the past 6 months or so, I have had the pleasure to review many tech accessories and other products, and something as mundane as packaging can make a huge first impression on me, along with prospective buyers.

Moving on to the bag itself, I instantly was impressed with the build quality and the sleek looks. It has a very nice variety of pockets that can easily handle everything I need to bring in a carry-on. On the inside, there is a great laptop sleeve that easily fits my MacBook Pro 13”, even with a hard case on it, or inside another laptop sleeve for extra security. Next to the laptop sleeve, there is plenty of space for magazines, notebooks, or whatever other small devices that you see fit.

A great addition to this bag is the added sleeve on the bag that is perfect for slipping over a rolling carry-on’s or a checked bag while rolling it to the counter. This helps the bag be much easier to carry, and is clearly built for all things travel.

My only few suggestions are for Lavievert to increase the padding on both the handles and the shoulder strap. While the rest of the bag seems very well built, and even the zippers are rugged, it feels like Lavievert didn’t put as much thought into the handles and the shoulder strap as they should have. With a laptop, tablet, other tech accessories, as well as a magazine or newspaper, the canvas bag can easily get heavy, and more padding would make it more comfortable to wear or carry for long periods of time.Read more ›

Awesome case

Awesome soft case for the price! I work in IT's for nearly 15 years now and I like this case very much because it provide a very high level of impact protection and interior is padded with some very soft fur style fabric! Neoprene itself is a well known material to be soft, well padded, wear resistant and water resistant too. This case is very high quality and it have two large pocket you access from underneath the two handles. Other nice aspect of the case is it completely open like a clam shelf. The size is just perfect for my 2014 MacBookPro Retina 13-inch but it probably fit a slightly bigger 14-inch laptop from another brand. For it small price, I didn't see any cons. Great clamshell laptop bag.

I needed something that would open all the way to allow me to quickly open my laptop at work and check email. I wanted to prevent having to pull it all the way out of my computer bag. It has enough room in the pocket to put the cord and mouse too. Very thin, so it doesn't take up a lot of room in my roll around cart that I use in schools going from place to place. It did have some strong chemical/plastic smell when I first got it, but I put it overnight with some pet odor remover stuff we have and it was ok to use. The smell was gone quickly.

Lots of room inside and professional looking

I have a Microsoft Surface and I have a small bag that I carry it in most of the time. It's a 10 inch tablet/laptop so the bag it fits in is small and I can't get much else in the bag. This bag will fit up to about 15 inches so my Surface has plenty of room and I can fit other items in the bag as well. The large compartment of the bag has two sections. One has a Velcro enclosure and that is where I have my Surface. The other is a large area and I can put my calendar/datebook or notebooks in this part. The outside from has 3 pockets. One large pocket has a piece of Velcro to close it and then two small pockets have zippers.

The bag is made from a linen material. All of my other laptop bags are either canvas or neoprene material. This material is really different looking and gives it a business casual look. The green is just enough for me to add some fun to it. I like that it has handles and a shoulder strap. This bag is lightweight so that even with my Surface and my calendar and other items, it's still lightweight.

Now here is the cool part about this bag. When I travel for my job, I take way too many things. I will sit my laptop and other bags on my suitcase while checking in at hotels or walking in, etc... I cannot tell you how many times my laptop or tablet bag has fallen off because the suitcase tipped over, etc... This bag has a sleeve on the back so that you can pull it down over the handle of the suitcase so it can't fall off. This is so very cool and I can't wait to use this for travel.

This bag is a very nice looking bag. If you are looking for a bag for a 15.6 inch laptop, it will not fit in this bag. This bag goes up to 15 inches so a 15.6 inch laptop will not fit. I tried mine and it was just a little too big.Read more ›
