The Phlox by Lencca

A backpack, turned into a versatile tote and conveniently transformable into a messenger bag. It is made from a superior water repellant exterior and interior, that provides an organic cotton feel and is respectful of wildlife.
The exterior features two front patch pockets with zipper closures and flaps for added convenience. At the sides, there are two large vertical slip pockets, and the back has a single large slip pocket to store the backpack straps within.
Included is a messenger style strap. When the backpack is converted to a messenger, the bottom of each backpack strap can be unclipped and stored away.

The top zipper opens for a clear view of the internal contents which include ample space and a built-in padded tablet/ laptop compartment.
The interior has three compartments to sort and store multiple items. Of these, one has a metal clip directly over a pocket to clip and slip items into. This layout minimizes the noise from clinking keys or objects when in movement.
Next to this, a zippered pocket is featured within as well to safe guard personal items.

Great bag for laptop and more! I love the size - fits laptop in padded compartment but still has large interior open compartment and two smaller interior compartments- one with and one without zipper. I love the two outside zipper compartments too - perfect for phone, keys, work ID badge to be handy. The flexibility of hand held, tote or backpack is great too. Clips are sturdy, canvas feels water resistant and substantial. Love that nothing about this bag feels skimpy - plenty of room, lots of compartments, nice materials. I got this in the red color and it's true to the pictures - a real red - not orangey and not burgundy- just true bright red. I'm very happy with my purchase!

Works Great for My Needs

There are a lot of things I like about this bag. It's BIG!!! I can carry my lunch, my makeup, shoes, plus a bunch of other things. I can carry my computer in here too, but would definitely recommend a sleeve for extra protection. I love having the pockets on the front for the little things that you don't want lost at the bottom of the bag. The orange interior is also a wonderful feature making it so much easier to see what you've got in there. I think it's a pretty sharp looking bag. I bought it to carry back and forth to work. I don't like shoulder bags and was looking for a good size professional-looking backpack that didn't cost an arm and a leg. This really fit the bill. Having said all this, I will add that I have had to make alterations to the straps in order to get them to fit correctly as a backpack. The backpack straps are ridiculously long. I cut them off and re-sewed them. Also the pads on the straps weren't staying where I wanted them to, so I sewed them into place. I'm going to Italy this summer and am seriously considering buying the smaller version for my travels. To me, this version of the bag is a bit big for carrying as an over-sized purse. It's a kind of pricey for what it is, but I've had it several months, and so far it's holding up well.

It was a great bag until the stitching came loose around the front pocket allowing the zipper to fall apart. That was on the third day of using it. No good. Poor quality stitching, otherwise it would be a perfect bag.
