Not OEM!

First this product was advertised as a Prime, which means I can get it in 2 days. It literally took 3 weeks to arrived post marked from hand wrapped packaging from a home address in China. What does that mean? I bet you that this product was ripped off from where the person was working.

In any case, it does not work. It has the Lenovo logo on it but, it was a different design from the OEM power adaptor that came with my X1 Carbon. And guess what? It does not even work!!!! It could not charge the battery or provide a charge for me to turn on the computer with the battery removed. Amazon...I hope you are reading this and take the seller off your site!!!

This is kockoff. not original. Check my pictures of the cable

This is duplicate material and not original. This has 3 pin power point plug and original cable has 2 pins. The end that that goes in the laptop is defective. It takes too much force to push the plug into the laptop. And too much force is required to remove it. This is clearly a non-original piece. The original one has 2 pins and the laptop end just glides into the laptop.
I have asked for refund.

it is a knock off. there was white tape over the Lenovo Brand names and when you use it the power cord over heats. i would not recommend this item for purchase.

Expensive Knock-Off

I can second the review that this is definitely not OEM. I ordered two of these because I wanted them quickly via Prime. When they arrived the plastic casing of the power supply is of noticeably lower quality than the factory supply and there were plain white labels over the Lenovo logos. I guess that's so they can technically claim that these power supplies aren't being passed off as OEM. In my case the first one is working fine with my X1 - so far. However the noticeable quality difference has me worried how long this will hold out. In the case of this knockoff I didn't pay any less than the OEM supply and I received something of noticeably inferior quality.

Fast Charging

I love this adapter because I can keep one in my laptop bag for the road without having to unplug from my desk every time. The best thing is that it charges 80% in 35 minutes or less and X1 batter will last 6 hours!! that's on a i7 processor.
