Worth the money

This is a great laptop, definitively worth the money. The battery life is pretty good an the keyboard is easy to use. I am happy with the purchase.

Horrible! Pass this one up

Horrible! Pass this one up. In general, Lenovo screwed this thing up with their "enhanced" settings capabilities. The F keys are a mess, you have to hold down function to use the F key. If you accidentally toggle Paper mode, you will have a yellow tint for hours. Paper mode is easy to toggle on accident because it is the Esc key. Yes, the Esc key! The Esc function requires you to hold down the Fn key, then hit the Esc key. There is no way to change this.Auto brightness is annoying as all get out. Yes, you can turn off these settings in Lenovo's horrible settings app, but some don't save and come back every time you reboot. Other settings change back after a few days for no reason. I've been able to fix some of the settings in the Bios, but not all. Plus, having to adjust the Bios to get a laptop to work like every other laptop I've used for 15 years is ridiculous. Every 3rd or 4th time use it from sleep mode, the screen freaks out as if it is being touched in 20 different places. There is no setting to fix this, on my 2nd call with their support to figure this one out. Google 'Yoga 3 screen issues' and you will see all of these things are common issues and more.

Bottom line: Lennovo has a dud with this model. I am hugely disappointed, will probably sell on eBay.

**UPDATE** - I was unable to return it to the store I bought it from because it was beyond the 14 day return period they have for laptops. However, they allowed me to exchange for a different laptop. The manager said that he has returned 8 of the Yoga 3 14's in the past week. They know it has issues and he was kind enough to let me out of it.,

Worst purchase ever

Worst purchase ever. I thought, "I'll throw money at this so that I'm ensured this is a kick ass laptop on all levels. Nope.

1. Battery life is S*** -
2. Trackpad is intermittent.
3. Better turn that overhead fan off, because the speakers are so weak you won't hear your movie
4. After two months I had to return it to be repaired because it flat out died. It took a MONTH before I got it back. Now, keyboard executes ghost strokes.

I hate this laptop. I would have been better off with a $200 HP Stream.

Often I find myself wanting to throw it against the wall. But then I remember, wait, I paid nearly $1500 for this piece of crap. Seriously - move on. You don't want this.

Be warned!--keyboard layout issues

I have a Yoga 2--and just want to post a heads for future potential owners. I was pretty psyched to buy this. They look great. But a couple of caveats.
1) I never actually use it as a tablet. Have tried a couple times on airplanes and it's too heavy. The multifunction is overkill for me
2) When I closed the lid is slept beautifully for about a week. Now it does not go to sleep fast if at all. Buggy. Windows has even been reimaged on it. It's the hardware
3) The keyboard is the main issue. Please note before buying that the home, end, page up and page down keys have been compressed and placed to the right of the backspace and enter keys. If you're used to typing where you hit and the backspace or enter keys at the very right and quickly, without thinking, as pretty much we ALL are, this laptop will really throw a wrench in your typing speed and skill. It's virtually impossible for me to type a few sentences without something weird happening to the cursor or the text. This from a lifetime typer.
4) The other issue with the compressed keyboard is that the touch pad is off center. It does not initially look off center, but because you shift your hands to accommodate the new key alignment, the touch pad is practically under your right thumb pad part of your palm and it sends the cursor randomly to all kinds of places you don't intend.

I've never had a laptop before whose keyboard caused me such pain and by pain I mean inefficiency, errors, inaccuracy, and difficulty in usage. I'd much rather have spent my money on a laptop that doesn't do yoga but has a standard keyboard without the ridiculous layout.

Now I know. Be warned. If you are a hunt and peck typer--this keyboard might be fine for you but any power-laptop-user-typer-writer-information-worker will hate it.
