They should just bring back the X230

My concerns are of the following:
1) X240 keyboard keys are too small: makes typing more challenging. It feels that I have to constantly balance my fingers to make sure I don't make typing mistakes. This doesn't happen in the case of the X230.
2) X240 keyboard is much harder to replace compared to the X230; not good if you are in the habit of typing a lot and want to replace the keyboard
3) X240 has one less USB port than the X230, which means a greater probability of needing to purchase a USB hub with a power adapter. Maybe one USB port gets occupied by your USB speaker, another port gets occupied by the printer or scanner, another port gets used by your 3G or 4G mobile dongle, and so on.
4) X230 sounds extremely quiet; not necessarily the case for the X240
5) For the X240, it is very difficult to open up the back of the computer to upgrade the RAM and the hard drive. X230 was much easier.

Frankly I wish Lenovo offered the X230 again for a limited time just to see how customers react regarding X230 vs X240.

I really like this laptop.

It's a great product. I also really like the design, and it's a solid machine. I do have to say that the WiFi is a bit finicky... It worked OK, then started having problems after a driver update, then another update fixed those problems, and then another update ruined it again. I rolled back to the last driver that worked, and while it still (rarely) does act up, most of the time it works OK.

Lenovo's online support website is very good. Any problem I had to solve, I easily found an appropriate solution on the forum of website. That's a huge comfort.

A great computer but ORDER CAREFULLY

I love my X240 for many reasons I'll detail in a separate post. But I hate the standard 1366 display, which is fine quality but just doesn't support enough data. I stupidly tried to save money by not getting the 1920 display, and I'll spend years regretting that false economy.
