I've (heavily) used this laptop for about a month now. Like other reviewers, I bought from Lenovo, not Amazon. I use it primarily for school (I'm a grad student) and personal use.
Pros:
/ Excellent battery life, I average about 5 hours with normal computing, about 3.5 when I'm running multiple apps and video conferencing simultaneously.
/ Looks great, I really like the design.
/ Processor speed and memory are an excellent pair, very fast computer so far.
/ Plenty of disk space, I have about 1 TB of hard drive space.
/ Full HD screen (1080 X 1920)
/ Good speakers, made by JBL.
/ Plenty of ports, including at least two USB 3.0 and a memory card slot.
/ Lightweight
/ Good screen size.
/ Bluetooth capability.
/ Neat feauture: you can charge other devices through the machine's power adapter slot by USB drive, using the computers battery power. It won't let you do so once the computer reaches 20% batt. life, however.
/ Doesn't get hot.
My personal qualms:
/ The supposed HD screen doesn't seem as crystal clear and crisp as I expect from a full HD display. Some of the text - more so on certain apps/programs than others - seems downright blurry, but only slightly so. The Safari browser and iTunes are particularly susceptible to this.
/ No disc drive.
/ The key board is good, but somehow the spacebar is either placed awkwardly or too shallow; sometimes I miss a space and have to go back and really make sure I tap it. Happens once in a while on other keys but mostly on spacebar. Could be just a thing of getting used to, my previous computer was a VAIO that I used for about 7 years.
/There is a weird fine horizontal double line running along the left side of the screen; not sure if its a glitch or meant to be there.

I just bought one of these from the Lenovo store for 899.99 with free shipping and a $100 Lowest Price Guarantee. It is a beautiful machine. The screen opens off the hinges and looks sleek. The keyboard is shallow but similar to a Macbook. It's easy to type quickly and game. The audio is crisp and the speakers look high tech. The guts are incredible, with a SSD and a 4gb video card. I can run any game on Med-High graphics.

Wery good laptop for its price, I've bought it from Lenovo website when they had 40% discount + eCoupon which deduct $100 from total cost. That was great deal for such laptop. I've looked for performance machine with long battery life and thanks to 5th gen Intel CPU this laptop does both perfectly. Only con is quality of the screen, if you will sit alone in front of it, there are no discomfort, but screen does have small angles of view and weak brightness. As mentioned in description, pros of the screen is Full HD resolution and truly AntiGlare cover. So I bought it without hesitation and happy about this after couple weeks of heavy usage. I saw some people are complaining about glares on bold border around screen, this is totally not an issue for me.

SSD does its job perfectly, I couldn't say its fastest SSD, I've had approx 100-150 mb/s speed copying big files from one folder to another. Integrated speakers sound is good, I've compared to previous generation Apple MacBook Air and this laptop has richer sound. Pretty good quality for camera+mic.
Also for some time I didn't figure out how to enable switchable graphics, didn't know it should be specified per application which should use it(right click on desktop and select "Configure Switchable Graphics"). But for some time I didn't realize I'm running only integrated graphics, its pretty good even for some games on low-mid settings.

And it definitely does not have illuminated keyboard.

Verified Purchase
This computer was an catastrophic disappointment. Decided it just wasn't worth it only a couple hours after opening it. It was glitchy and had problems booting up Windows. The software is a mess and the screen looked totally dull. Will be going to another company or switching back to Mac.

Update:
Well this story does have a good end.. I got a call from Lenovo case manager (demetric) they are going to send me a new computer since they don’t have the part.. with extended ram as a bonus… thumbs up Lenovo
I will get it soon and I'm really proud of them!!! This is a big plus in a company!!!! Good for you Lenovo for the big come back!!!! I now know I can trust the Lenovo brand!!!!

Do not buy this computer!!!
I had my trackpad busted after just a few months – I actually using an external mouse so it was probably bad from the factory...
Well I can understand this – s*** happens.

I send my computer to Lenovo service center because none of the service depots near me works with this model. Now after a week They called me a said they don’t have the part needed for the repair and it's gonna take them 3 weeks to get a hold of the part… it has been a week now… I have decided to have them send me my computer back.. it has been 2 days now and they still haven’t send me my computer… just had to call again today and see what's wrong with this company..
I don't know what kind of customers Lenovo has that they can be without a computer for a month?!?! If you don’t want to be the person who stays without a pc (like me..) stay away from this company…

And in general.. This laptop is a big disappointment don’t expect to play anything on this platform not even counter-strike
