Laptop performance is great!!

This is most interesting product from Lenovo. They have been advertising this one as a gaming machine, but this is not clearly a gaming laptop. You might want to look at MSI, Asus laptops. The reason being screen being locked on 48Hz refresh rate and 4K display, as UHD is not meant for gaming. If you looking for a gaming laptop then this is not for you, otherwise it's a great laptop and handles pretty much anything you throw at it. No doubt in my mind, Lenovo makes the best keyboard; the red back lighting keyboard makes it even look better. The speakers does perform better than other laptops, but i think it could be better.

Windows 10 makes the laptop better, there are still some bugs which could be removed and improved upon with Windows 10.1 update. The bugs are minor, can be ignored easily. Secons, if you could past the yellow color screen issue, then you going to enjoy the screen.

The notebook is not bad, fast startup, enough memory, beautiful 4K touch screen, low heat, acceptable heat on charging, lovely keyboard back-light, etc.

Just 3 things not good enough: not including the external DVD writer, the sharp edge hurt my hands, and the battery lasted less than 4 hours - while other 14 inches models have dual batteries that can last for 8 hours!

The conclusion is worth buying!

Great machine for creation oriented professionals and engineers

If you are a content creator like a photographer or digital artist, architect or engineer this machine will let you do your work quickly, effectively and allow you to show your clients too. I run any thin from CAD to Lightroom/photoshop Excellent display and plenty of speed, storage, etc. to keep you going for years to come.

Hardware and Lenovo customer service failure.

Verified Purchase
Screen on this unit failed within a week. From moment of arrival the unit's screen would occasionally not work and a reboot seemed to help. Later it ceased to be fixed via reboot and now requires an external display to function.

Lenovo can fix the unit but it takes over 3 weeks for the part to arrive, plus time to process the device itself for repair. Even with the 3-Yr In-home Warranty my laptop would be out of commission for weeks. Amazon couldn't replace it since I bought it through a seller on Amazon, not from Amazon itself.

So Amazon is shipping me a similar laptop not from Lenovo and I'll be returning this one for refund and getting the warranty from Lenovo refunded as well.
