Pretty Good by today's lowered standards in the Windows world.
I am a Tech and folks hire me to buy PC things for them, fix them, explain them, etc. I have had now 2 of these Yoga 2 11 models: one this version with the Core i3, the other its brother with the Core i5. I see no reason to buy the i5 model so you're in the right spot here. To dispense with that: the i5 in real use is no faster than this model. I'm not convinced that the i3 wasn't the faster of the two in real use but the caveat is that I configured the i3 model, in the end, for windows 8.1; the i5 for Windows 10. Windows 10 has issues and on this machine is not as quick as 8.1. If anyone has questions about that issue, respond and I'll explain - long story and evolving day by day.
Compare this Yoga 2 to Touch Dell XPS 13, a much ballyhooedexpensive laptop that incredibly is in the top 10 here on Amazon: its touchpad is effectively a liability to the user. That malady is not uncommon and something to dig for in reviews [UX305 comes to mind also].

PROS:
CPU/Power: i3 works well on this model and barring some software issue you'll have no problems doing everything short of Gaming. Hinges are good [were on both models I have used/config'd/sold].
FEEL: Solid quality feel aside from the plasticky body. It opens and shuts solidly [this sounds like a small nit but in today's sorry market, you'd be surprised]. It 'carries well' - pretty good balance, it is thin though it is not a small laptop.
MEMORY: Technically, 4GB is plenty for Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. I rarely am able to exceed 3GB in real use or even artificially "loading up" the system to see where it breaks.

I love this computer. I needed a little laptop for simple school volunteer work and this one has been great. It works like a tablet and computer for me - I rarely use my kindle anymore because this laptop does everything I need. I had to purchase Office so that was extra.

Bought this to use as a tablet to replace one that I had with a small hard drive. So far, all the issues I have had are from me needing to remember this is not a large laptop or desktop. With that I want to point out to anyone considering this system that it DOES have it's limitations. It is not a gaming system. It has a processor designed to be a portable, energy saving processor and the graphics card meant to be the same...a portable energy saver. This is designed to be a tablet, at least part time. It would be perfect for office work and students on the run.

I bought it with Windows 8.1 and updated to Windows 10 Education edition with ease. I ran the setup that Microsoft supplies in Windows Update and went through manually and made sure that all important drivers (Video, sound, WiFi and Bluetooth) were updated. I must say, after updating the sound driver, this little thing has GREAT sound using both my Turtle Beach headset and my Bose earbuds. My girlfriend is actually envious of how good classical music sounds on it and has taken to sneaking a listen on here while I am at work. Granted, the built in speakers are nothing to write home about but most tablets have terrible speakers. As I said above, I use headsets.

There were no issues after the Windows 10 update.

I am running Office 2013 Pro for my graduate school work as well as light photo editing programs, an older version of Dreamweaver for web design, Norton security suite and have had excellent web streaming from Comcast on both my Netflix and Hulu Plus accounts. I am able to watch HD video from both services and I typically do so in the tablet mode.

Keeping in mind what it was designed for, and not typically what we may wish it was designed for, this is a great find.

I received one of these free from a friend with the only problem being the internal hard drive. I checked the warranty status and the warranty is good. After I called, I got an e-mail from lenovo stating that they didn't have a replacement hard drive at this time. I called them back and asked when they would have a new one and they said they didn't know. I loaded a live distribution of linux mint onto my external drive and am using the laptop right now booted off of my external drive, I just wish they would send me a replacement internal drive. From what I can tell, it will be a 500gb sshd. It runs great in linux, I'm just waiting to see how it will run in windows.

This will be different. So... I had a dandy little Acer Aspire One that was serviceable and portable, but slow. And then? I knocked it off the kitchen table, breaking both hinges. Since the computer was less than $180 when new, there was no point in trying to repair. However, I had put inside it a 500 Gig SSD worth more than the laptop. I use my portable laptop every day and needed a replacement --- quick. I picked up a Lenovo Yoga 2.

Here's what I did. I took out the Hybrid HD that came with the YOGA (without so much as booting up Windows), and replaced it with the SSD. Windows 7 and Linux were still installed. Since I never used Windows 7; and because I didn't want the hassle of transferring the license of Windows 7 to the Lenovo (if MS would even permit it, which I doubt) I used Gparted Live to remove Windows 7 and move the remaining partitions, giving Kubuntu the entire drive. 32 Gigs for the OS and the rest for the Home Folder (in effect by using Symlinks). (This was before removing the SSD from the old laptop.)

Installed the SSD.

I booted up, & --- EFI Security Settings No Bootable Media

Feh.

After some searching: There's a tiny little button next to the power button (right side). Press this little button and you will be able to access the BIOS. Since I'm not running Windows on this machine, I switched off EFI and Secure Boot (settings are on two different BIOS pages) -- changing it back to Legacy. All of it. I'm not too worried about the rootkit scare.

I booted up, & --- Voila!

Kubuntu didn't skip a beat. No dialing home to renegotiate the contract and licenses, blah, blah, blah...

Edit June 11 2015: I've since installed Kubuntu 15.04. Everything "just works".
