I purchased this to replace the battery in my Toshiba L505 series laptop, and it nearly doubled the battery life that I get. I would highly suggest this to anybody who needs an upgrade. I use this during my work hours, and for college.

The only thing that is different from my original battery is that the extra cells cause the computer to sit up in the back about three quarters of an inch. Hardly an issue

Misleading Product

In actuality, it's probably more of a 6-cell battery, so be cautious.

I bought this to replace my 12-cell battery from Toshiba. When I got it, I found out that about half of the battery is an empty shell, made specifically to look like a 12-cell. The part that sticks out on either side is hollow the whole way through. You actually have to put plastic covers on the battery to hide the empty area.

It fits into the battery slot okay, and works as a viable replacement given the age of my current laptop.
