This product didn't even last a week. As soon as the powder cord is unplugged it fails instantly and crashes my laptop. Save your self the hassle and irritation and spend the extra money for an OEM replacement from dell.

Battery works as advertised in my Dell L702x laptop. It charges to 100% and stays there when the charger is plugged in - the battery charge depletes at about the same rate as the OEM battery. The best thing about this battery is that it costs less than half what Dell wanted for it.

Worked very well. I can get about 6 hours (basic web surfing and Office suite work) with one full charge. My computer likes it too - it hasn't given me any error message or that it's not a "real" Dell battery. I don't think I can ask for more.

Bought this a few days ago for my Dell XPS L702X laptop. If you know the history of this line and the motherboard not charging the battery correctly then you're ahead of the list. I have have to replace two power cords, one which blew up the plug that goes into the wall outlet, yes it blew up, with this laptop that Dell said they would replace the motherboard with 100% of the cost on my side. No thanks and no more Dells for me. Their qa/qc is now in the toilet.

This replacement battery has the raised ridge under it so the laptop is elevated. I don't think this was in the description but it is a good idea to allow addtional cooling for the laptop. The battery only charges to 60% but this is becasue of the error in the motherboard, not this battery. I installed this battery about 4 days ago and so far so good. Only 4 stars because nothing is perfect. Fast shipping and good price.
