does a nice job of cooling, while adding a blue glow around your laptop...

LotFancy produces a number of laptop cooling pads, featuring different configurations of fans, of different sizes and quantities. I was sent a sample of this three fan model for evaluation, and have been pretty pleased by how it has performed, with my 15.6" laptop.

The fans are located inside a perforated plastic and metal housing. The assembly feels very solid, yet is relatively lightweight. The fan blades are protected, so there is very little chance that they could do major personal damage, or hurt a child who happens to stick a hand underneath the laptop.

Two plastic stands are used to raise the pad up at a slight angle, which helps promote the flow of air, and also places the keyboard in a position which may feel more comfortable to some. The fans are USB powered, and can be powered from your laptop, or another USB source. In addition to the fans, a set of blue LED's also comes on. The lights are decorative, and also serve as an indicator that the fans are running, as the LED's switch off, when the computer goes into hibernation mode.

The fans are very quiet, and while they don't seem to generate an excessive amount of air flow, the pad does a fairly good job of cooling my laptop. I had been using a Cooler Master cooling pad, with three fans. The rig looks a bit crude, but worked well enough. The LotFancy pad is a much more attractive looking unit, that is easily portable.

LotFancy has a pretty extensive lineup of cooling pads, so you can probably find one that meets your needs, at a competitive price. If you touch the underside of your laptop, you can locate where the hot spots are, so you just need to make sure that the pad you select has a fan that covers that area.

An Excellent, Light Laptop Cooler Pad

I RECEIVED THIS PRODUCT COMPLIMENTARY FOR THE PURPOSE OF MY OBJECTIVE REVIEW.

What I DON'T like about this product: Because it is lightweight, and by its nature, you should not drop or bang this. It is not something rugged you can carelessly handle. Other than that, it is an excellent cooler pad.

What I do like:
* Functionality: This is the biggest factor as to why you would buy/need a laptop cooler - does it actually work?? Yes, it does. There are 3 fans which you can feel sucking the air from under the pad and pushing it up to where the laptop would be situated. These are the simple cooler fans which you can buy to put inside your computer case to cool the internal parts. There are also 2 kickstands you can unfold for when you want it have it at an angle.
* Material: It is made from a combination of materials: The upper part which faces the laptop is a metal mesh type, while the bottom is a plastic material. This allows it to be lightweight for when you want to use it on your lap, and for storage/travel.
* Aesthetics: Efficient and functional design. There is a grooved "X" on the metal mesh part. There are 3 LED lights associated with the fans that glow a nice soft blurry blue color, which does not distract you when using in the dark.
* Size: It measures roughly 15" long x 11" wide x 1" thick. It weighs in at just under 1.5 pounds.

* Miscellaneous: There is an extra USB(I'm guessing 2.0) port, in addition to the one that you need to power it. There is a power switch you need to turn "on" and "off."

3 fan laptop cooling pad

My last laptop died a slow death due to over heating. It would unexpectedly shut down, and those shut downs became more and more frequent until it finally just quit for good. I have a 17" Asus that I use now, it has different cooling features than my last laptop, but during hot weather with heavy usage, I'm still worried that this will go the way my last pc did.

This cooling pad does fit under my 17" laptop, with a bit of overlap on the part of my laptop. This cooling pad measures 14.96" x 11.02" x 1.10" inch. My laptop is approximately 16.5" x 12.5",...it still works out. There are two little fold-out feet at the top so you can raise your computer to a more comfortable angle if you like. If I have my pc on my lap or on the bed I use a lap desk underneath it. I was still able to slide this cooling pad in between my laptop and the lap desk without it being uncomfortably bulky.

There are three fans that light up a pretty blue color while it's on. Since this cooling pad didn't extend all the way out to the edges of my computer, the lights weren't distracting to me. There is an On/Off button at the back next to the two USB ports, and this cooling pad also includes a USB cable so you can plug into your pc. The mesh covering helps keep the two fans protected. While on, I could feel a slight draw of air underneath, and I did notice the sides being a bit cooler than normal,... nothing drastic, but enough to notice. This is also nice and quiet, which makes it nice while watching movies. :)
