My laptop loves to overheat, within minutes one side of my laptop is very hot and will cause my computer to shut down. Over the last few years I have tried other cooling pads but so far this has been the best. I have been putting it through a few tests, watching a movie, burning a disk, playing a game, and just leaving it open...it is keeping my computer nice and cool. I like how it has an extra USB port to make up for the one that it uses. There are buttons in the back that allows you to keep all 5 fans going, just the 4 on the edge, or just the one in the center. It does have a nut of a hum but you can hardly notice it. I was iffy about the blue lights while the pad is on but when you have your laptop on the pad you can't see them. I have it on my lap and I can feel cool air that this pad puts out. The fans pull the heat down and out. I am beyond happy with this product so far and recommend this to anyone who has the same problem with their laptops overheating. It had legs so when on a flat surface (desk, table...) you can have a bit of an angle. It is not a flimsy cooling pad, like I said I have tried many cooling pads over the last few years and they have either broke (the shell covering the fans), fans have died, fans did not pull the heat away and did not help keep my laptop from becoming very hot. I highly recommend this product.

I've had this for about 9 months now so I thought I'd review it. The fans really help cool the laptop, I've had probably ... 4 other laptop coolers? most all of them were mediocre to downright terrible, and none of them have lasted me as long as this one.

Mine I can play really intense games while watching youtube videos and it still feels cool. It's still working nearly just as good as the day I got it, the only thing I can say is the light on the top left fan has went out... not that I care at all though, the lights don't even do anything. I mean even in the dark I can't see them since my laptop covers the entire thing.

This works fantastically, my 17" HP laptop has never been cooler. I had another brand cooler before, the computer was always blazing hot and would shut down to cool off. Also love the short USB cable, stays out of the way.

Cooled down a MacbookPro that used to operate at 95 degrees C to 40 C/Heavy user

My laptop (MBP 2012) always ran at 200 DEGREES Fahrenheit or 95 for Celsius. My older cooling pad from Target costing about the same as this one with only two fans struggled to bring down the temperature. This pad however brought down the temperature by 40+ degrees. I Youtube, download, torrent, edit in Photoshop, sometimes all at the same time and my laptop is still cool. If you care to prolong your laptop's lifespan, this is worth every penny.

I purchased this cooling pad to replace a cooling pad that had a flimsy adjustment brackets. This pad is very sturdy and works very well. You do hear the fans. It may be distracting if you want absolute silence. It doesn't bother me. I have a 17" laptop so I really don't see the blue lights when I'm working. The 4 outside fans are controlled by 1 push button switch in the back and the large center fan is controlled by a 2nd switch.

Had this cooling pad for about a month now. One of the fans did not work on arrival. I tinkered with it a bit to get it to work. Not my favorite fan, but it works okay. It is a bit on the loud side, but I don't mind it. I tend to overclock my laptop often. This does help my laptop from getting crazy hot. I do wish the fans were a bit stronger
