USB-C Connector Issues

This case looks and feels great. The material is soft and durable and the fit is almost perfect. Almost because I find it difficult to use the power cable with the lid of the laptop closed. The case on the lid will not allow the USB-C connector to fit all the way into the port. It will fit just enough for the Mac to detect the cable, but the connector is not securely inserted into the Macbook.

Although, this issue is not a deal-breaker for me since I only purchased this case until more premium quality (leather) ones become available. If it wouldn't have been for the connector fitting poorly, I might have considered using this case instead of purchasing another.

EDIT- Sorry, I should clarify that it is Apple's AV Adapter which doesn't fit properly. The actual charging cable itself fits with the lid closed, but I like to leave the adapter attached to the computer so it will always be easily accessible for use. If you're like me and find yourself using the adapter a lot, then take not of this.

Also, after further use of this case, I found that it is extremely attractive to fingerprints, which are exceptionally difficult to clean due to the rubberized texture of the case. Furthermore, after a few weeks of light use, I tried to remove the case to clean my MacBook and a piece of the corner broke apart (see attached picture).

Although this case may seem like a good product upon first impressions, I strongly discourage anyone from purchasing this, even at the low price point.

Disappointed in this case..i have previously bought other cases that were very durable from amazon from other sellers & you could remove them and put them on easily. This case is good for looks if you're going to leave it on you laptop. it cracked the first time i tried to remove it :(

AVOID PURCHASING THIS CASE

I have had the worst experience with this case. To start off, these cases do not fit correctly. When you put it on it will either crack immediately in one of the corners or the next day when you weren't even using the computer. I thought it might have been an issue with the one case I got so I decided to return it and get the same product. After 3 cracked cases I am finally fed up. I would never recommend this product to anyone, this has been the biggest waste of time whether it be dealing with customer service or going through the shipping process to get it back to Amazon. Bottom line, save your time and effort and find a different case.

Great case. Feels soft, fits great, no added weight... overall awesome. My only complaint, which is minor, is that the Apple logo is a cut out on the case. I usually put a vintage Apple logo on my case where the new Apple logo is and I prefer to not have it on my actual laptop. Oh well, it isn't such an issue worth returning it. It's a beautiful case, doesn't cost a ton, and adds beauty to an already beautiful laptop.
