I purchased this GMYLE Hard Case in Marble on Ebay, but I loved it so much that I had to come over to Amazon to leave my thoughts.

The case snapped onto my Macbook Pro perfectly. It is sleek and slim, and still feels very protected. I replaced a thicker snap-on case and didn't realize what I was missing until I had the matte case in my life. The case feels like it is of much higher quality and it is just so much softer than the plastic one I had previously (that was the same price!). With this product, you don't have to sacrifice style for durability.

The best part is, as mentioned by other reviewers, is that you can get a whole case for less than the price of a skin. I had been eyeing the pattern for forever but didn't want to spend $30 on a sticker or attach a cling to my computer. This case is wonderful! Would definitely purchase again. May do it just to have a back up!

Very well constructed case!

Excellent case! Fits perfectly on my Macbook.
I own a silver, aluminium-unibody Macbook from late 2008. The model number matches that of the new non-retina Macbook Pro, and so most cases that are manufactured for that model fit my machine just fine. This case is no exception. Fits just like a glove. Everything snapped into place first try--I really like how the "clips" on one half of the case have intents on the other half of the case so they don't scratch or mis-align (see photo). Very good attention to detail and quality engineering.
The case itself is sturdy, hard plastic. I can't see it chipping anytime soon. All of the cutouts for the ports fit well, also. The cutout for the battery light indicator is a little off (it's lower on the case) but it doesn't cover the button/lights too much.
The graphic on the case is good quality; it isn't pixelated and it has a satin/rubber finish to it. It isn't shiny, slippery plastic. The apple decal shows through faintly. Personally, I'd prefer it to be either entirely opaque or have a cutout for the apple. It isn't completely in the "white" part of the case, either, some of the graphic is lit up by the apple light. If you're looking for an opaque case, this isn't it. Overall the design is very nice, though.
The bottom of the case is well ventilated. It seems to have more ventilation than similar, high end cases like the Speck case. The rubber feet appear to be securely glued in place, though some of the rubber has already begun to peel off. I tend to shift my computer around on my desk a lot, though, so that may be why. If your computer is in a stationary position most of the time, you shouldn't have any problems.

the design itself is pretty, but the matte texture of this case makes me like it even more! it even came with a removal card which is nice. i have the A1278 model btw and it fits perfectly.

I was super excited to receive this case in the mail. Shipping didn’t take too long, but I wasn’t able to track the package the entire time. When I got it I was pretty disappointed. I was immediately disappointed to find that the case is a rubberized matte texture, not shiny plastic like I was expecting. The “marble” print is kind of pixelated, and again, is matte. It doesn’t look like marble, it just looks cheap. However, my biggest complaint is that the bottom doesn’t fit right. It stays on, but there are gaps between the case and the computer and the cut-outs don’t match up exactly with my computer. I’ve bought GMYLE cases before and they are supposed to fit seamlessly. I have a 2012 13” macbook pro. Anyway, still deciding whether or not to return it. I don’t really think it’s worth the trouble as these cases don’t last for very long anyway.

This is my first Amazon review, and I'm writing it to let you all know how satisfied I am with this laptop case!!! I actually received it more than a month ago, and still felt compelled to write a review. I got it WAY earlier than it said it was supposed to arrive, and it fits perfectly! I saw this marble design becoming popular as a laptop case on the internet, and was unsure of whether to go with a decal or a case - there are so many different options!!! Not only do you get a sleek look, but you're getting a really protective laptop case as well! If I saw this product in a store and got to see it before I bought it, I probably would have paid more!! Thinking about buying another one now for the future (if I ever need one)!! Get ready for UNLIMITED COMPLIMENTS yaaaayyyy

I was not sure about it because of the photos online. Looks like marble, but of course it wouldn't be able to feel like it because it is plastic. Thankfully, the actual product is quite satisfying. It has a soft smooth texture as well as a marble like appearance. The plastic is hard and does its job.
