Love this!

I love the color! This is a quality bag that would work great for a mini laptop or even for a tablet. I received this for reviewing and testing purposes. I am planning on using it for my Daughter's Amazon Fire tablet. It is padded on the inside and the inside material is super soft and will not scratch her tablet. I love how the front pocket unzips to make retrieving items very easy. There is a comfortable shoulder strap that you can detach and use the side handle if you prefer. This is a very quality made product and I highly recommend it.

As nice as it is, it could be fantastic with a few small modifications

I received this as a review sample and in the process of testing it I decided to see if my Samsung Tab 3 10.1 would fit in the front pocket. Much to my surprise it did when I removed it from its case and used the side zipper on the front pocket to allow top and side openings. An iPad 2 also fit (again, sans case). If the front pocket were an inch longer and wider it would accommodate just about any 10-10.1 inch tablet in their case. And if the expansion pleat was about an eighth an inch larger, it would probably accommodate all but a very few tablets in their cases in that size range. I am not pointing out a flaw as much as a small improvement that would make this case not only better, but compelling. As is, though, I am very happy with that part of the design.

It's easy to overlook, but there is also a smaller back pocket with a nice zipper.The zipper is somewhat hidden, but the pocket is very useful for pens, small note pads and the such.

Where I am more than pleased is this case has a decent layer of padding inside both compartments. If you were to drop it with a tablet in the front pocket with the screen facing inwards I am betting that it would survive the fall. I did not test that of course, but the padding does seem to be that good.

The outer fabric is more like canvas. Mine is the gray model, but it sure looks like army olive drab to me. All of the details from sturdy stitching to easy to pull zippers make this a great knock about case. I also love the shoulder straps and the large, rotating snap hooks. The latter are a combination of high impact plastic with metal snaps that are easy to open. The side handle is also a nice touch.

In the main compartment you can easily fit a laptop up to 13,3 that is an inch thick when closed.Read more ›

The tab for the shoulder strap was completely torn off while the other looked like it would Possibly hold for a week or so

They shouldn't have sent me this "follow up review" as I was not going to send a comment - But - This case came to me PRE broken! The tab for the shoulder strap was completely torn off while the other looked like it would Possibly hold for a week or so. I sent the company a note - they wrote back and wanted a picture - that was understandable. Then I got another note saying they wanted another picture showing the entire case - ya know - by that time I was done with them. I contacted Amazon and sent it back - which was the best thing to do since the stitching on the entire bag was terrible. I am a seamstress and I was just going to restitch it but I couldn't get down deep inside the case with my machine.
I tried to be understanding - but it was torn out when I got it - obviously it was sent back to them when it busted from someone else and they didn't check it out ...just sent it out again. I think there is a problem with quality control.
I really hardly ever write bad reviews - But since I count on other peoples reviews I felt I needed to write.
