I ordered this charger after I accidentally broke my original's pin. I am pleased. It does not seem to have the problem of overheating/(melting _o.O_) as indicated by some of the reviews of cheaper chargers. I've had no problem with it conducting the charge while remaining cool. As far as the cord length goes. I personally find it adequate. It seems to be about the same length as the original. I estimate it's about 12 ft long fully connected.
