The only thing that I don't like is the thickness

This cooling pad is exactly what I was looking for! I was hesitant to make this purchase because I didn't recognize the brand name. The only thing that I don't like is the thickness, but all of the other features make up for it. I can rotate the entire pad using the built-in lazy Susan. The blue lights aren't necessary, but I like that I can control the speed of the fan plus change the angle of the surface that my laptop is sitting on. My laptop sits securely and I am pleased that i will also be able to use the same surface for my tablet. Good buy so far. Will update if there are any problems with the fans burning out etc, but overall I am a happy camper!

this product exceed my expectation.
I bought this because my old laptop always got overheat. this cooling pad comes with two "huge" fans, easily driven by USB, and I'm using it right now, I can't even hear anything. just very very soft white noise. furthermore, which is i like the best, there is a switch for the fans, and you can even alter the speed of them.
love it.
Besides, amazon said the estimated delivery was between Sept. 24 and Sept 29, but I received it today, Sept. 22.
pretty satisfied purchase experience.

Fire Hazzard

This worked great at first, then one night when it was barely 2 months old it started smoking. The lights flickered, and it burned out. I quickly unplugged it and tossed it in the trash. I bought it to keep my laptop cool, and instead it nearly caught my laptop on fire. Now I'm out 20 bucks. Do not recommend.

I liked it and felt good about buying it

DO NOT BUY THIS PLS. Excuse the cliché, but I only gave this one star because it was the only way to give it a review.

When I first found this here on Amazon, I judged it just by the price and the nifty look to it. I liked it and felt good about buying it. Then I read the comments. The good comments were obviously either from the people who sell this cheap-ass cooling fan, or were people who got lucky with a model that just so *happened* to be constructed with some care.

While it did arrive much sooner than I expected it to, that does NOT in any way make up for the quality of this POS.

First off, just holding this cheap crap should be a dead giveaway to this. Then, as some others have pointed out, the knob that controls the fan doesn't work properly. It seemed to work fine until I tried to kick it into high gear. Which, whenever I tried that, I would have to pull up on the knob to get it from shutting off.

When I set it down, after accidentally leaving the fan on high, I came back into my room and smelled something burning... I look over at the fan and its frEAKING SMOKING OUT OF THE USB PORT!!! I immediately disconnected it and threw it back into the box that it came in.

By the way, I received this unit twO NIGHTS AGO. AVOID THIS PRODUCT AT ALL COSTS

This item is absolute junk. Just opened the box, connected it to my PC, and when I turned the control knob it just spins freely, like it isn't even connected to anything. Unit won't turn on. It seems like shopping at Amazon is becoming more of a gamble these days. Been a loyal shopper for years, but honestly getting tired of dealing with returns/waiting for refunds for crap that obviously received zero QC before being packaged/shipped.

Bulky, however work fine, connect to an USB port for power, have a extra USB port to replace the one you use to power the device. Have a blue led that illuminate the bottom of the device when is on, also have a switch for on and off that control the speed of the fan. If U house is super quiet you can hear the two fan noise. So far keep my computer cool and angle more easy to view.

two weeks later it got even worse and never stops

I received this as a Christmas present to use with my Alienware 15" laptop. Within a week the fan started making a grinding noise off an on, two weeks later it got even worse and never stops. It is also about an inch smaller than the laptop. I also dislike that there is only 1 USB port on this. The only thing I do like about this fan was the adjustable stand.
