its amazing how difficult its been to find a replacement adapter that works as claimed. This one works well! Stays in for the most part(Truck driver that drives to michigan on their whiplash giving roads.) and it never heats up. also produces less electrical humming when connecting your laptop to a AUX port in a vehicle. Dang near none! All the ones I had before, had loud humming feedback while using AUX port to play media. If you need a replacement for your gateway, dont fool with cheaper ones and get a headache.Spend a little extra and get a superior one. Get this one!
