An excellent replacement battery

This is a well-constructed replacement battery that has been working very well for me in my Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop.

A few years ago my Dell’s original battery completely died, and I was left with a computer that was essentially a desktop. I couldn’t unplug it, and it had to be tethered in one location. This replacement battery by OMBAR has helped immensely and works as good as my original battery.

Installing it was as easy as swapping out the old battery and putting in the new. I highly recommend charging it overnight when you first receive it, keeping it plugged in for at least 12 hours.

I also recommend calibrating the battery when you receive it. Calibrating basically syncs up the batteries actual level with what the computer tells you so that you get an accurate account of how much battery you have left. Charge up the battery to full, leave it plugged in for a few hours, and then let it run down completely and leave it off and unplugged for at least 6 hours after the battery has been depleted. I found that after calibrating, the level displayed on my computer was much more accurate than what it was before.

At 50% brightness the battery lasts between 3-4 hours on average, but that drops to between 1-2 hours when the computer is at full brightness. At 20% brightness, it lasts about 6 hours, which was unheard of with my previous battery.

OMBAR was very helpful in determining if this exact battery pack would match my computer. I recommend contacting them if you have the slightest doubt, or just want to make entirely sure. Make sure to read the product description fully, too, to make sure the model numbers and part numbers match your computer.

Overall, I really like this replacement battery pack, and I highly recommend it.

A heavy duty laptop replacement battery

A heavy duty laptop replacement battery with an over all high performance for Dell Inspiron 1525 1526 1545 1440 PP29L PP41L,6 Cells,5200mAH. My laptop seems to drain a lot slower than the previous battery I was using so I can have a lot more work time connectivity with wireless capacity.

I like the fact that it's fire resistant and made from PC alloy shell casing to help prevent damage to the computer. Using Samsung grade A cells gives a longer life to your laptop and it has an overcharge protection feature built into it.

Great for going on long trips out of town without the need to keep stopping somewhere to recharge. Just a great performance with this high quality battery.

Perfect replacement battery

I have had a Dell Inspiron 1440 for many years and the original battery no longer holds a charge. This OMBAR replacement battery is the perfect replacement. I cannot compare this battery to my old battery as it was dead! This pack revived my old dell laptop. It took me a while to complete the review as I had to reload windows and do some work to get the old piece running. Now I have a nice backup laptop for work. The battery seems to last a very decent time, more than 2 hours straight with wifi and screen turned to the middle. It fits fine, isn't loose, doesnt overheat and charges just fine with my standard charger. So far it's worked great for me. I received a discount in exchange for an unbiased review.
