OMBAR 6 Cell 5200mAh Replacement Laptop Battery

I received the Ombar 5200mAh battery to replace my three year old Dell Vostro battery. I was having problems with that battery and even when fully charged, it would only be about 20 to 30 minutes before it died. Since it still worked pretty well besides the battery life, I didn’t want to have to buy a whole new laptop.

Packaging
---------------
This came in a small cardboard box with the battery wedged in between two pieces of foam. Good protection to ensure that the battery is not damaged during shipping.

Installation
---------------
Installation of this battery is very simple. Just remove the old battery on the bottom of your laptop and put the new one in. That’s all there is to it.

Testing
----------
I charged the laptop overnight to ensure it was fully charged. Then I loaded a Netflix movie with volume at 100% and brightness at about 50% (these are the settings I typically use for watching a movie). The new battery lasted almost 3 hours before the laptop shut down. This is a huge improvement from the half hour or so I was getting before. The battery did not get any hotter than the original Dell OEM battery it replaced.

Overall
----------
If you want to bring your Dell laptop o back to what it was like when new, then purchase this battery. It can easily give you a couple more years out of your laptop before needing to upgrade.

This is a great product and I would highly recommend it. 5/5 stars.

Awesome price and replacement battery

I was in real need of a replacement battery for my laptop after being a road warrior for the b
Past two years I had been regretting buying one as the direct Mfg Replacement was a hundred bucks then I came across Ombars line of laptop bateries and than double luck struck when I got the Chance to buy one at a discount for my honest review. The easy part about reviewing things like this is its plug and play I got mine yesterday and popped it in the latop. It had 20% juice but I plugged it in and left I to charge over night as I would be traveling today. Bam boom. Spent 4 hours running the laptop when I couldn't get 40 minutes out of the old one and I still had 25% left good to go my man. Good to go.
