Works amazing, no issues, as good as HP

I have a HP laptop that just needed a battery & few repairs, so I got this battery from OMBAR, not only is it a great price it is working properly. We got the laptop going but could never unplug it because it would not stay charged & it was running so slow. Those issues have been fixed & it runs better than it did brand new. I could not be happier with the battery fixing the issues & giving me back my favorite laptop. We have had no power delays or spikes, nothing but a smooth moving computer that the battery now lasts hours before needing recharged.
Pros: A battery that works great for my HP without the HP price. Cons: None so far. Overall: I am so thrilled I can use my favorite laptop & my daughter can do her school work. I received this product in exchange for providing an unbiased review.

I have gone almost a year without a laptop battery and had to use it plugged in all the time. I couldn't justify almost $100 for a battery from the manufacturer. I came across this one and figured I'd give it a shot considering it was only a fraction of the price HP charges. the battery clipped in exactly like the OEM Battery,the instructions advise to charge overnight initially which I did. The battery is essentially the exact same thing as the brand name HP battery. I still have the same battery life I used to have with my HP battery if not better! Don't waste the extra money on the name brand battery, this will work the same for you! Very satisfied!

A Laptop once again!

I've had my DV-6 Series for about 5-6 years. Truth be told, it's seen better days. I tend to kill batteries in laptops and this one was no different. The only thing was that I have been using it as a desktop-esk computer for the past 2 years as the battery was no longer holding charge and well, I just hadn't replaced it. I finally made my way around to doing so and so far, so good. It's worked really well. It fits perfectly! When I received the battery and installed in my computer, it was initially about 50% charged. I immediately used it drained it, the charged the battery in full. This Ombar battery works exactly as I remember the OEM battery working when I first got the computer. It adds hours of life to my computer and again, what had become a desktop is now a laptop.

Great replacement battery! Holds a charge for a long time

I love my laptop. It's never given me a day of trouble, runs like a champ, works like a charm. Except I had one problem not that long ago: my battery just died. It wouldn't hold a charge and now it's more of a desktop than a laptop and that doesn't make me happy. So I went on a hunt for a replacement battery. Most of the ones from HP are a bloody fortune, especially when I feel like they gave me an inferior battery to begin with. So when I saw this one, I was eager to get it. It arrived in a plain sturdy box. Inside the battery was wrapped in plastic and nestled between foam. There's also an owner's manual although installation is incredibly easy. It fit in perfectly and my laptop is back to being a laptop! It keeps a charge for a long time and I am so happy that I got this one.

It hold a charge for a long time almost as long as the HP OEM battery that came with my laptop. As good as the HP batteries at a 1/3 of the price. I will never purchase a branded battery again. A top notch replacement battery

I was in real need of a replacement battery for my laptop after being a road warrior for the b
Past two years I had been regretting buying one as the direct Mfg Replacement was a hundred bucks then I came across Ombars line of laptop batteries and than double luck struck when I got the Chance to buy one at a discount for my honest review. The easy part about reviewing things like this is its plug and play I got mine yesterday and popped it in the latop. It had 20% juice but I plugged it in and left I to charge over night as I would be traveling today. Bam boom. Spent 4 hours running the laptop when I couldn't get 40 minutes out of the old one and I still had 25% left good to go my man. Good to go.

Great Replacement!

I have a HP pavilion laptop that I have had since 2013. About 5 months ago the battery gave in & would only last about 15 minutes on a full charge. I was so excited to get this battery so I could finally use my laptop without it being plugged in! It looks just like the stock battery I received with my computer & snapped in within seconds. I have been using it for about 2 weeks & have had no issues thus far, and on a full charge get about 3 & a half hours of time unplugged. This is a much affordable solution than buying the battery straight from the manufacture for triple the price!
