efficient, slim design makes life smoother

Everyone has been there: you're wearing a backpack...you turn suddenly...and your ridiculously overlarge backpack bashes into an unsuspecting passerby. (Or maybe you've been the victim of this scenerio...ouch.)

This backpack is the solution: it's so slim, compact, and efficient, you would have to go out of your way to slam it into someone (...but that wouldn't be very nice). It has tons of padding to protect your laptop, and room enough to fit a textbook (or two!), all while avoiding the tipping-over-backwards-massive-backpack vibe. There is also plenty of room for small essentials like charging cords, pens, phone, etc.

Keep in mind there is a pocket on the front (which I didn't even see at first because the zipper was tucked away! A Secret Pocket, cool!), another zipper pocket on the inside for more secret stuff, and a divider in the main compartment to prevent your laptop from mingling with the rest of your bag's occupants. And if you walk or bike (or run?) anywhere with your bag and get sweaty (or if you're a naturally sweaty person in general), the back of the bag will wick away that moisture without creating a sauna for the contents inside.

Summary: If you've got a laptop that you need to be mobile with, this is the perfect option!

Fits my 15.6 inch Acer Aspire and the protection level is pretty impressive

I am always bringing my laptop from place to place as I rely upon my Acer to store my images and video files. Observ's Laptop Backpack is much more padded compared to my normal backpack with a laptop slot

Bag is made of polyester and nylon. Exterior feels water resistant to where initial moisture would slip off rather than sink into the material

The side that lays upon my back is padded with slots for air flow. Mesh also provides air flow. I believe air will flow upwards from the sides as heat dissipates from my back to rise upwards. Shoulder straps are easily adjusted

Top has two handles. One for a soft firm grip and the other for hooks

Zippers are smooth and the front one holds plenty of space for my mouse and wall plug

Inner larger compartment allows me to store not only the laptop, but some paper work and smaller accessories while being organized. Slim build means it will limit the clutter I bring and ensure I only bring what is necessary

Laptop can be held in by the velcro on an elastic band

Overall, the Observ laptop bag holds plenty of space to minimize the excess I carry. Protective padding provides more protection than my previous bags. Zippers are smooth. Threading is fine without any issues. Compact build also means I will not hit others as hard if I shift suddenly

This backpack ended up being a much higher quality than I was expecting. The stitching is fantastic. I don't have the patience for gear that's going to fall apart on me, so I gave it several good hard tugs and wore it around several days, and it's still like brand new. The padding is several inches thick, with moisture wicking material in all the right places. Your laptop can be secured inside the main pocket, against your back, and you'll have plenty of room for the charge cord, notebooks, pens, and just about anything else you'll need. The uncluttered black look lends a sleek and sophisticated appeal, or allows for personalized decoration. Lightweight but not flimsy, this is an excellent product. Five full stars!

will definitely protect your laptop!

This bag has a ton of padding and protection for my laptop while maintaining a slim profile. The back of the bag that rests on my torso is well-cushioned and the inside divider that creates a laptop pocket is also padded to protect my laptop from anything else I've put in the bag.

I can easily fit a couple of books, notepads, etc. inside as well as my charger, kindle, pens, and other small stuff. The inner zipper pocket and outer zipper pocket help keep me organized. And even with the bag full, it doesn't get bulky and awkward like a normal backpack.

This bag won't fit a 17" laptop, nor will it fit a ton of books - it is minimalist, so keep that in mind.

I feel good about being able to throw around this bag with confidence that my laptop will be in one piece - a great buy!

A Backpack for Today's Then Notebooks and Tablets

For the past several years, I've used a shoulder strap case to carry my work-related laptops. When traveling from airport to airport, I've resisted using backpacks...I guess it looks too retro ala "2005" and reminds when I used to carry a 9 pound Dell 15 incher.

But Here's Why This Backpack is Compelling in 2015

First of all, I think this is a great backpack for business travel. I wouldn't use it for just casual hanging out at the coffee shop. It just too big for that. But with it's clean design, free of zippers, side battery pockets (which nobody needs these days), it perfect for stowing along with your other carry-on luggage when you board the plane.

There is ample padding to guard your stuff getting crushed by the gigantic pieces some people just somehow sneak on board and then stuff into the overhead.

Inside, you main laptop compartment with a velcro strap that enables to you to keep your computer in snuggly when you dump it onto the conveyor build for the potential rough handling by the luggage screeners. There ample other compartments for your other accessories as well as your favorite tablet.

From that I tell, there's really nothing missing. It's a nice minimal is design this era of thin and lightweight notebook computers.

Got this at no cost for unbiased review.
