Compatibility and Usability
Self-designed PCB electric board, top-class Japanese dual-ball turbo, and brand-new ABS Industrial plastic, make sure the LC05 last over 5000 working hours, which is 2 to 3 years for a heavy user and even longer for normal utility.
The cooler uses 3 silicone shrouds making it suitable for most laptops with vents on the sides or rear.
The clamping arms are a creative way to keep laptop cooler firmly attached, enabling it to move or hang in the air - perfect if you move your laptop around for work or at LAN parties.

Smart and Quiet Operation
You can adjust the fan speed with two different modes - automatic and manual. In automatic mode, the cooler intelligently adjusts the suction according to the temperature generated by the laptop and auto stand-by when the laptop is powered off. You can manually adjust the speed with 13 different speeds available, with the maximum speed being up to 5000 revolutions per minute. The fan is very quiet and makes little noise, not more than 60dbm, even at the fastest speed.

My Toshiba laptop thanks you, Opolar!

This is a genius invention and has saved my Toshiba laptop. I noticed another reviewer mention cooling pads... we have tried those as well and found them to be a hassle. The Opolar cooling fan has some serious power and does exactly what it's designed to do. Before trying this out, my laptop would get hot very quickly. It's really helped my laptop function better.

At first, I was a little intimidated by all the pieces when I first opened the box, so I was relieved to see an instruction manual included. Plus, reading through some of the great reviews, I was able to install without problem. Be sure to try all the silicon pieces out to find the one that fits best. Also, I would suggest lining everything up before removing the adhesive strip. It's more trial/error than anything. After you find the best fit, it's easy to install.

We keep the cooler on default mode which intelligently adjusts the suction according to the temperature range it detected. There's 13 different speeds total, with max speed at 5000 RPM（revolutions per minute).

I've included some pics of the device right out of the box. As soon as I get some pics of it actually installed on my lap top, I will include those as well. Product provided by for reviewing and testing purposes.

Top of the line laptop cooling. A must have! Perfect for AW 13 / 15 / 17

I will start by saying this little invention was the difference between me returning my laptop and keeping it. It sucks the hot air out of the laptop so efficiently I can't imagine how this doesn't come stock with new high powered laptops.

I recently bought an Alienware 15 to play WoW on and was shocked at how hot my machine was getting when i would play. Within 30 minutes it got hot enough to fry an egg on and my sweaty hands felt like they were on a stove. So i immediatly began research and found that many high end laptops with lots of hardware inside tend to get extremely hot which will only ensure that you have to buy another one soon after. So I started my research on aftermarket laptop cooling and found it was flooded with old ineffiecient cooling pads. I still found myself initially only buying a low profile 3 fan laptop cooling pad but was incredibly unsatified so I orded a differently slightly bigger cooling pad that works a lot better but not nearly good enough on its own. I was about to return my laptop and get a desktop when I came across these opolar nc05 usb fans, they are much much smaller than similar ones on the market and I can only imagine how much better these are than the others that are literally the size of a brick and cost about the same as these newer opolar fans. I initially ordered 1 fan and was incredibly impressed with the cooling abilities, it instantly allowed me to play my game for hours without reaching frying pan heat levels but I could notice on the left side of the laptop where it was hooked up it was cooler than the right side so the obvious next step was to order a 2nd fan and install it onto the back exaught just the same as I did the first installation.Read more ›

Clever little laptop cooler

I have a Sony Vaio that's my main laptop, and during the summer months, the internal fan always sounded and felt like it was over-worked continuously, and the internal temperature sometimes get up to worrying levels. That made it the perfect candidate for the OPOLAR laptop cooler.

In the past, I used laptop stands, but they mainly benefit ergonomics and only offer minor help with heat issues. I tried adding a small portable USB-powered fan to blow at the heat exhaust, and while it worked, the fan can't be secured to the laptop or used when not on a flat surface. I then started using laptop cooling pads, and they are fine if you're only using them on a desktop and don't have to carry them around with your laptop, or that you don't mind having the height of your laptop's keyboard raised. But if you carry your laptop around and don't want the additional bulk/height of cooling pads, then this little OPOLAR is a great alternative.

The installation is a bit involved because you have to choose the most fitting silicon air seal for your laptop's heat exhaust, fit its elastic lip over the OPOLAR's air intake and place it snugly against the laptop's heat exhaust, then carefully position the bottom plate adhesive to the best position for your laptop, as well as use the two spring clamps to grip the top of the exhaust area.Read more ›
