I want Amazon to know how much I appreciate the extra effort and courtesy A-Tech has extended to me. I am forever grateful. Apparently I ordered more memory than my laptop could handle. They (Alex) stuck with me all the way, helped me try to find the problem, sent several more memory sticks to me free of charge to try, with free return envelopes -- and finally credited me for the memory I did not use. The memory I did keep is working perfectly. I recommend this company to anyone looking for good quality components and service. You won't be sorry.

Good RAM

Size: PC2-6400 8GB Kit (2 x 4GB) Verified Purchase

The A-Tech RAM kit uses Micron chips, same as Crucial memory. They came as a matched pair, part numbers are the same and both made in 2013 in week 8 and week 11. Passed Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool. I put them in a OEM MSI GX620 laptop from 2009, now I can get quite a few more years out of it. This is a good memory product, nothing to worry about.

excellent purchase

I had a Staples technician to replace and install the new ram its works great. My laptop has been given new life it runs much cooler now with the increased memory the many notifications of high cpu usage from windows has ceased. I love it thanks A-Tech.

Memory modules excellent value for the money

Excellent value for the money. It was easy to install as all it took was popping one cover, popping out the old 512 K DIMM and installing the pair of 1 GB DIMMs. Now the laptop is a happier camper and it no longer clatters away whirling as the page file that acts like expansion memory tries to catch up to the rest of the system. It's nowhere near as i/o bound as it used to be, either.

A-Tech Customer support is fantastic. They followed up on my request for product replacement. Apple store had goofed with their memory upgrade suggestion. This manufacturer A-Tech guided me via several emails, to get the best match of memory module for my MacBook. They even refunded me for Apple's Support mistake and honored a product return after 3 months. Now that's service!

Great on second try

The first pair of modules I received were DOA. The company did not have a number to call, and it took some effort to connect with a rep who could send me replacements and take the faulty ones back. The second pair worked perfectly. Unfortunately, I needed the memory sooner and had paid for expedited shipping. If not for that, I would rate them 5 stars.

Breathed new life into my netbook
