UnHappy with HP HEWLET PACKARD unit failed after only a couple weeks HP wants 211 dollars to repair, More inside...

Size: 8GB RAM | 2TB HDD Verified Purchase

Unit shut down repeatedly and locked up sporadically when i received it. Was not real concerned at the time as only happened like once a week or so randomly. But the over 4th while traveling was using it in my car and it locked up made a cd skipping noise similar to what it had been doing but this time it did not come back on . Only power light came on . Sent to HP they claim hardrive has signs it had moisture on it, They want 211 dollars to repair . Not a happy camper as at no time was it near any moisture while in my possession nor did I spill anything in it if I had I would say i had, In any case very disappointed and frustrated. Also could barley understand the HP support person that called English was certainly not his first language and very hard to hear,. Unlikely I will do any more business with HP or purchase any products they sell.
Not to mention the unit it seem now only a few weeks later is selling for 200 less than I paid for it which is even more frustrating.

Its hugh and heavy but i love it so far. I am still getting use to the system but I know i will catch on.
