It was a big improvement from the worn battery that came with my laptop (HP Pavilion g6). Beats being confined to one spot because I needed to stay plugged-in. I get about 4hrs or so just watching movies so not bad at all. I would recommend especially for the price.

Seems ok

I have had this battery for a few weeks now. It seems to be compatible with my computer (HP Pavilion dv6, about 2 years old). It holds a nice long charge, which is good, since that's what it's supposed to do. The only thing that is a bit off is that once in a while I will plug it in to charge and my battery status will say "Plugged In, Not Charging." That never happened with my old battery. Anyway, what I usually do in this case is (with the charger plugged in) pop the battery out, and then pop it in again. Then it starts charging. Meh, nothing to major, and certainly doesn't warrant returning it.

Good but not exactly the same size as original!

This battery is a generic laptop battery. It bought it for my HP Pavilion G6 since my battery from factory started to die too quickly.
I'm not going to complain since it's very affordable and works perfectly ... BUT I need to warn other buyers that it doesn't necessarily fit like the original one.
It doesn't snap on totally, therefore, with a fast or strong movement it will fall off. It happens very often when I put my laptop on a counter top and the battery just snaps off.
Take this into consideration prior to making the purchase to avoid getting mad when receiving the product! :)

This battery is functional on my hp g it is stating 1 hour remaining at 50 percent battery charge. Comes in good packaging and seems to be of good quality material not flimsy. It holds a charge well and charges at the normal rate my old battery did..the battery also comes with instructions on how to care for the battery the main one being do not ever let the battery die or it is harmful to the battery which is the case with all batteries like these. The only thing that keeps it from 5 stars is that it does not fit in the laptop properly the locking mechanism is not in place so the battery can be knocked out with a little force but if you are not rough with it you will be fine i can move around without fear but you can not toss the laptop on the couch.
