no problems here, worked like a champ. brand new, packaged well. if you are installing this screen on your own, be sure to look up directions on how to install it. the screens are 'very' thin and can easily damage. (not by fault of the screen, but just by its design) so be careful!

easy fix

My little brother dropped my laptop on the floor and broke my screen, but thanks to youtube it was super easy to fix the screen I had a like new computer ing 15 minutes. the screen was perfect it's pretty universal so even though it may not be the same modle that came with your computer it may still work. it did for me I am not saying it will for everyone.

My wife had accidentally dropped her laptop off the couch onto the floor and "cracking" the LED screen in the process, rendering the laptop useless. HP wanted basically the price of a new laptop to replace the monitor so I started looking on the internet. I found this item on Amazon and for around $56 I was able to make my useless laptop just like new again. In my research, I found a Youtube Video that had been created for my specific HP Pavilion laptop. This instructional video offered step by step instructions that took me through the entire process. I have limited knowledge of these things, so don't think for a minute that I am a techie with all of the tools of the trade and knowledge accorded them. I was SCARED to DEATH of attempting this, but after looking at the video a few times realized that it was really quite simple. I took me about 45 minutes from start to finish and I am typing this review with the same laptop that has worked flawlessly since I replaced the screen. You will be amazed at how easy it is and inexpensive. Don't throw the laptop away, fix it yourself!

I feel mislead and disappointed.

The screen that I had purchased does not have the same locking connector and wiring and is not adaptable in any way with my laptop. I had double checked and triple checked to make sure I had all of my information correct upon ordering yet I did not receive what I had expected. The size of the screens are the same but that is the only thing that is correct. I feel mislead and disappointed.
