Great lap top for my needs

This laptop is light and easy to transport. It's just the right size for backpack or briefcase. I love the touch screen for easy navigation. I like to use an external mouse and it has plenty of USB ports that I can use for mouse plus I can charge my iphone at the same time.

This system is super quick and takes less than a minute to power up or to shut down at the end of the session. I love the battery as it will hold a charge for several hours so I don't feel chained to a plug.

The only downside are the fingerprints left from using the touchscreen, but the pros outweighs the cons. I got some pre-moistened individually packaged screen wipes and they come right off.

It was worth the little extra I paid to get the touch screen.

Great value for this price

Great value for this price. Very satisfied with the laptop, I love the design. It is sleek and has a nice weight to it without being bulky or difficult to transport. I also like the touch screen, works very good and easy to control.
The keyboard feels comfortable and responsive and the keys have a nice spacing good for me.

I ordered the laptop as a gift. My Mother had several problems with it freezing. She contacted HP customer service and they took her through the troubleshooting process. It worked properly for a while and started freezing again. When we contacted Amazon to return the product we were informed we were over the two week limit for returns and needed to contact HP. We contacted HP and they will not accept a return, but we can send it in and they will try to repair it. This all happened in less than 30 days.

I bought the laptop for my husband. He sometimes works at home. He satisfied with it. The processing is very quickly, and he can open many window at the same time. It is enough for him to work:)

The Best Laptop!

This computer is amazing! I'm a college student and I was looking for a sleek, new, touchscreen laptop for my Engineering class, and I found this computer. It's perfect for my papers, running simple programs, and streaming movies. Windows 8 was not bad or tricky for me, because it was specifically calibrated for touchscreen laptops, so if you want a good windows experience look no further. Also, this does weigh a bit heavy it's 5.6 pounds, but that is mostly due to the touchscreen. The battery life is longer than I expected. The reviews I read said 4 hours, but I was able to squeeze 6 hours worth of entertainment on this laptop, and 4 hours if you stream long movies like documentaries or a bit of game play. The AMD Graphics Card can be adjusted to give you better picture quality, and though this computer is not able to play 1080p at all(believe me I tried to watch the Avengers 2 on that setting, kept freezing) it does offer crisp and sharp pictures. It's a great laptop for a great price and so far I love everything about it.

Such a disappointment

I bought this product back in 2013. It was a blessing. Everything was glossy and nice. Seemed like a durable pc.. One question to ask now is what does not go wrong with this pc. One time it crashed and the touch screen software got deleted. The battery was crap from the beginning an now its gone and hp does not provide spares (have to use a next seller which is unreliable) My speakers has a crackling sound. But you might say.. Well you paid 600+ and got it for 2 yr. that's not bad. But this also happened to someone else with the same pc.... It was a real disappointment. I love the memory, screen etc but so much negative come in to play. I wonder if it was ever a new pc or if it was secondhand. And the pc waited until the 1yr warrenty to start acting up

Good performing medium-end laptop.

Reviewing a used product. I am surprised by the performance of this computer. Although I did buy it because it is a quad core and because it has AMD integrated graphics.. It's certainly no match for my gaming laptop but it plays so many somewhat modern games perfectly fine. Portal was tested on this one. Minecraft with high graphics as well.
