Exactly what I was looking for. Perfect, whether I am sitting on the couch or in bed. I even find with the 2nd leg extension I can lay in bed and use it like a night stand laptop desk!...How lazy is that????!!!!

The tilted support on this is very poorly designed. I placed my laptop on it and the corner immediately started to bend backwards and didn't support the computer at all. It might be good for a small (13") laptop, but if you have a bigger one, don't bother.

In the picture, the product looks like it is made out of metal. It's actually made of very cheap looking plastic. It got great reviews, which is why I chose it, but I don't understand the reviews at all. The hinges are too weak to support my husband's laptop (you can see the plastic start to bow), and the ridge in the front that is supposed to keep the laptop from slipping into your lap is not tall enough, so the laptop just slips off. It is also not as adjustable as I expected, so depending on the size of your lap and your chair, it might not fit. I would like to return this, but I've wasted so much in shipping already, we are going to keep it as a "snack tray". In reality, it will probably sit in the garage and never be used again. Very disappointing item.

I purchased this laptop table a few months back when I first began having lower back problems. It was the least expensive laptop table I could find as most others were close to or over $100. I intended to use it while lying flat on my back, but that didn't work out at all, and I was very disappointed. If that is what you are looking for then this is not the desk for you.

I'd written the desk off until recently when I needed to find a way to alternate between standing and sitting while working. I have a desk job, and sitting for long periods of times is something I need to avoid. I decided to try working while alternating standing and sitting positions, so I pulled out this laptop desk, extended the legs fully, and sat it on top of my regular desk. And guess what? It works very well.

I am able to elevate the keyboard so that the screen is not so low. It's still not the perfect height for my neck, but it will do. There is also room for my regular mouse, which stays flat when the keyboard is elevated. So many of the desks I've seen online either do not have room for a mouse, or the entire table is inclined including the mouse.

The biggest complaint I have is the flimsiness. It's made of plastic, and the incline mechanism supports only the right side of the computer. So when I have the keyboard inclined the laptop sags a bit to the left. This is the part I am most nervous about breaking.

All in all this can be a very good, affordable laptop desk depending on what you want to use it for. If I could find the same general design made of better quality materials that didn't have the sagging incline I'd buy it in a heartbeat. But for now this little guy is saving my back, so I'll take what I can get.

I needed a stand to get my laptop screen up higher when working on my desk at home. This stand is simple and works great. I absolutely love this product. Very sturdy.

I love this thing! It's durable and well thought out. I usually use it folded up completely on a table so I can stand and work comfortably (better for the back). Propping it up is nice, my complaint is this: there's one support for it so the laptop has to be scooted to the right some. Nothing major - just the dent in the Ferrari.

The light is nice to have (though unremarkable).

The grooves on which the laptop rests do a good job of keeping the laptop cool.

The mouse pad is nice and adequate.

Very unobtrusive, stores back in the box easily.

Can sit on your lap comfortably.

Overall if you think you might like it you will! My wrists are thanking me and my back is as well.

I went to my local Fry's and bought this item. I returned it the very next day. I have a toshiba satellite p305 and its 17" and the lop left corner bent in. It overall feels and looks very cheap. If you need something for a smaller laptop or just reading then it may be for you.If it had a second support arm for the left side I may have kept it.

This item is a piece of crap! Who ever wrote all of those positive reviews must have been paid by someone because it is not at all like it is described. It is really unstable and wobbly and the legs bend like they are going to break, and it is much smaller than it looks. It is very cheap looking and my laptop slides off when i try to use the stand for it, and my laptop is pretty light. You really should not buy this!! I can't believe I wasted my money on this, I should have looked at all the BAD reviews first.
