Made for 14.0 Inch Widescreen Screens

This privacy filter fits widescreen monitor and laptop computers with 14.0 inch screens (measured diagonally from opposite corners). Actual filter dimensions are 12.20 inches wide x 6.85 inches high (310 x 174 mm). This filter is designed for screens with an aspect ratio of 16:9. Do not worry if you are unfamiliar with your computer's aspect ratio -- as long as the diagonal, horizontal, and vertical measurements are the same, the screen will fit.

Sizing Your Screen

1. Using a ruler, measure your computer screen. Do not include the screen frame in your measurement -- only the viewable area itself.
2. Compare the width and height with the filter dimensions provided. In this case, it is 12.2" x 6.85" (310 x 174 mm).
3. Choose the filter size that matches your exact measurements, or slightly smaller to ensure fit.

Great privacy filter!

This privacy filter does the trick and fits on my 14" HP ProBook almost perfectly. However, there are two things that really bother me that I almost deducted a star for. First, the semicircle cutout really bothers me for some reason. You barely notice it in the picture, but when the rest of the screen is filtered, it leaves a bright mark either on the top or bottom of your screen, depending on how you install it. So the brightness of this small area is noticeable. The second thing is that the included double sided tape (approx. 1/2" x 1/4" stickers) for permanent mounting is very visible through the privacy filter. Not a big deal if you choose the removable installation method, but I for those of us who want it install permanently, it's noticeable. I'm not sure what could be done to make it completely transparent though, as any double sided tape would probably show up, so I find it hard to fault the manufacturer for this. Neither of these are deal breakers, and I still not only recommend this privacy filter, but I still give it 5 stars - especially for the price!

LOVE IT!

Bought this for my work laptop (14") and fits perfectly. Just enough room on the sides to easily slide on and off, but not so much room that there are gaping amounts of screen on the side. Two types of adhesives were provided -- one to attach tabs around the frame so you can slide it on and off (option I chose) and one where you can use double sided tape to adhere the filter directly on the screen. I love having the different options!

Screen is crystal clear and I can easily view everything when directly in front

Received my privacy screen in the mail earlier today. So far works just as expected. Screen is crystal clear and I can easily view everything when directly in front. From the side, the filter darkens the screen, preventing me or anyone else from seeing what I'm working (or not working) on! Great buy!

Good Product; But Only One Installation Method Worked For Me

Good semi-privacy filter and an excellent buy for the price... works for what I needed. You can still see blurry images on the monitor when sitting next to the laptop (i.e. in a chair on either side of the person using the laptop), but you can't really tell what the images are or read anything on the screen. And that's basically what I wanted.
My comment on the 'installation': There are two options for installing the privacy screen to the laptop's monitor: 1) adhering little double-sided sticky tapes (included with the filter) to the four corners of the filter and then attaching it directly on the monitor's screen; or, 2) adhering double-sided sticky holder tabs (also included with the filter) to the outer border of the laptop's monitor and then sliding the filter in behind the tabs.
Unfortunately, the double-sided tapes that were included for use with option #1 didn't work because once the tabs were adhered to the corners of the filter, it was impossible to remove the other side (the backing) of the tape (the side that was to adhere to the monitor). I've used a lot of different double-sided mounting tapes, but these were just not a good quality--the backing would not peel off of the tape. So then I tried option #2, which was to adhere the holder tabs on the border and slide the filter in. That worked very well!

Interferes with "Touchscreen" capabilities; and does not fit my Lenovo T440 laptop well

Fine as Privacy Screen. Two issues. (1) my Lenovo has a flush screen - I have used privacy screens for 15-years and previous laptops always had a recess to allow the privacy screen to drop-in slightly. Net result is the only option is to use the included 2-sided tape and mount permanently instead of being able to slide the screen out if not desired (such as when sharing the screen with a colleague). (2) the screen prevents touch-screen attributes of Windows 8-10.

I realize these issues are not the problem of the manufacturer, but still.....the screen cannot be used as intended.

This fits perfectly on my 14" T420. This is great for flights and on the train, I no longer worry about which spreadsheets or presentations I work on in public places. It darkens the screen a bit, so I don't use it all of the time, but it is easily removable with the included tabs. I only use 1 tab on each side and one on the bottom. It holds in place just fine. Does the job like all of the others at a great price point! Thanks!

Whether I'm at the airport, on a plane or at work, I'm in front of my computer constantly. I'm the kind of person who works much better when I know that no one else is looking at my screen. I purchased this screen for my laptop as I travel often for my job and am often required to complete work on my flights. As I tend to handle a lot of sensitive company information, I wanted something that would prevent wandering eyes from viewing my screen. This product does the job and I have no complaints about thus far. I would recommend it to anyone in need for some privacy.
