great product

I am very pleased with my pwr+ laptop desk. Lots of pros, only one small con.

Pros:
- Very sturdy construction
- Fans are effective and run pretty quietly
- The six joints (three on each side) let you adjust this thing into many, many different possible configurations to suit your needs. The desk comes with a handy guide that suggests a few different useful configurations.
- Unlike lap desks that sit directly on the lap, legs let you keep weight and heat of laptop off your lap
- Spacing between the legs is just about perfect for my needs -- I most often use this while lying on the couch and the legs are just close enough together that it fits on the couch cushion and just far enough apart that I don't feel squished in between them. With my usual configuration, the legs of the desk are positioned such that I have room to fold my legs if I want to.

Con:
- Because all six joints move independently of one another, transforming the desk from one configuration to another can be a bit slow and cumbersome. To be fair, though, I don't see how it would be technically possible to make the right and left legs move together automatically or 'remember' a favorite configuration, at least without making a vastly more expensive product.

I'd recommend this for anyone who needs a lap desk and wants the flexibility to choose its configuration, but doesn't necessarily plan to change that configuration very frequently.

Great for my Macbook Pro!

I bought this for my Macbook Pro 15'. I thought it might have been too wide, but it actually fits perfectly. It definitely helps my laptop cool down, especially when it starts to heat up when I start to game. It's doesn't completely get rid of the heat (like on top of the keyboard), but it defiantly help out a lot :)

Great Laptop Tray Stand!

I normally don't do too many reviews, but this laptop tray stand has worked very well for me since I have a bad back and must work in the bed most of the time. I found it to be very sturdy and it worked well once I got the legs adjusted to the configuration that I liked. The adjustments of the legs may take a little while to get it to where it is adjusted properly, but it is worth it.

Awesome sturdy wide stand

I switch back and forth a lot between my personal and work laptops and I wanted a stand that would position my laptop screen at an equal height to my desktop monitor to give me a good dual monitor setup. This stand worked out perfect for me. One of my biggest concerns when I was looking at stands was how the legs locked in place. I was always afraid that my almost 8 pound work laptop would cause the angle to change over time, but because this stand has a great leg locking mechanism, its stayed in its rock solid position like a champ.

My only real complaint from this product is where legs meet with the table surface. This area is essentially a flat piece of plastic that makes the stand sturdy, but it also causes the stand to slide on the desktop a little more that I would like. This is more apparent when your changing laptops in and out. I would really like to see some rubber pads of some sort on the bottom of the legs that will grip the table surface a little better.

But its a great stand, with a nice quiet fan at great price and I would definitely but it again.

Works very well. How ever my HP does slide off. I fixed that by putting Velcro strips on the fan frame and lap top. Fan is very quiet and cools very well.
