Doesn't work!

A few problems with this product:

1. Most importantly, it did not work. I tried it in 2 different Dell Latitude D600 computers - it fit into the computer but did not supply any power to it.

2. No invoice, packing slip, or any other paperwork was included with the shipment so it was a pain to try and email the company to find out where to send it back and what kind of documentation would be required.

3. The replacement cord is a cheap and very light-weight replacement for the one that dell sells so even if it had worked I would have been somewhat disappointed.

This may not usually happen with this company - I'm not sure. But I'm still waiting on a response from them regarding reimbursement for my purchase. Too much of a hassle. Be careful if you are considering buying this product!

Worked fine for about a month in my Inspiron 6000, then started to not charge the battery. Get message 'power supply type cannot be determined' on bootup. Won't charge the battery I have which is brand new. Also runs very hot to the touch. Not recommended.

Don't trust the photo.

I was very pleased with how quickly this item was shipped, and the quick response time by the seller, but I would NOT recommend buying this specific item. The item is not the one pictured - it's a cheap, lightweight knock off - but that's not really my problem.

I plugged the charger in my laptop to find that it wasn't charging the battery (What? That's what I bought it for!) I emailed an inquiry about the problem to the seller, and the response was "These adapters just provide AC power to the laptop."

I find this hardly a "replacement" to the original AC adapter without this key functionality.

Thankfully, though, I was issued a refund very promptly and with little question. This item may be a piece of junk, but I'm thankful to have received prompt service along every step of the process.

Purchased this to replace my broken AC adapter for my laptop. It works exactly as it should. Other than the sticker and the fact that it doesn't get as hot as my Dell adapter - it is indistinguishable from my factory AC adapter.

Note: Make sure you order the correct adapter. (I've read a lot of reviews from people who don't order the right adapter and then complain when it doesn't work)

Flawed

It worked ok for about a week and a half before it began to malfunction. It only works sporadically now,and even then only when its positioned in a certain way. The cord that attaches to the computer doesn't sit correctly and the adapter rarely works now. Would not advise purchasing.

Good Charger - not as OEM. . . but good

The product was delivered in really good time. It ran and charged my Dell Vostro 1000 laptop. However I had a similar problem as one reviewer. The touch pad seemed to behave weird. It got stock several times in the first day or two of use. I needed to do a hard re-start several times. It seemed like it did not have enough power. It eventually went away. Laptop is working fine now.

dangerous fire hazard

the plug was fine for a while - then one day inexplicably i smelled burning the middle of the plug was in fire - the power pack was hot - if i was out of the room for another thirty seconds it would have started a fire in the house - do not but this product - its made in china and defective ! i should have known that the price was so cheap because the product is dangerous - take this off your list of products amazon because someone else wont be so lucky when they are out of the room charging the laptop
