The battery worked great for 2-3 weeks, but now will not hold a charge at all. If the computer is removed from the charger completely turns off. I would not recommend purchasing this, it is a complete waste of money.

So far I have been very satisfied with this battery. It has performed as good as the original equipment and the price was unbeatable. The price of brand-name replacements are driving the average consumer to look for bargains elsewhere. My original battery lasted about 2.75 years and shouldn't cost 1/3 of the price of the computer to replace. Yaaay for generic brands!!!!

I ordered this battery as a replacement for my Toshiba Satellite C655-S5540. I plugged it in, and it instantly worked. I haven't had it more than a few days, and I can't comment on the lifespan of the battery at this point. It seems to work pretty well, but I can confirm it will work with this specific version of the Toshiba Satellite.
