Warning -- Hazzardous

I just received this product to replace a broken charger for my Dell 600m. The specs on the label are identical to my last charger, but I almost fried my battery/laptop using it.

After plugging it in and letting it charge for an hour or two, I turned on the laptop, and several lights related to the charger/battery began blinking red immediately. I felt the battery and it was *very* hot.

Seems the charger does it's job (and it will power the laptop without the battery installed), but I wouldn't trust it enough to leave it unattended unless you want to your house to burn down -- I've seen enough overcharged batteries explode to know the dangers.

Buyer beware.

May not be OEM or Dell or whatever, but works like a charm. Sure, as others said, cord is about 10" shorter or so. But it keeps charging up the laptop, and kept some extra cash in my pocket. Cheaper than anything I saw on Craigslist. It's all made in China. Probably from the same factory, one with Dell/OEM sticker that costs an extra $25, one sticker with no name with no extra charge. Just like the factory where I bought my wedding tux, less than what you would rent it for... and they also make Armani suits.

I was very nervous about purchasing this type of product because this would be my second time doing this. The other one I bought from ebay was a waste of money, did not last very long and it wasn't brand new as claimed. But fortunately this adapter worked perfectly with my dell inspiron 1521. The only issue, which lost it the extra star, is that the cord is really short so I can only use it when I'm very close to the wall sockets. I hope this is the last time I have to buy one of these.

I received the Ac adapters when I was told they would be there. They perform great and the Dell laptops work well with them. I would recommend them to a friend. On-time delivery, great prices and solid-performing products, a great combination.

I had to order three to replace the Ac adapters for two laptops since my dogs had chewed the end off of one and frayed the other. I figured I had best get a spare while I was at it. They had the best prices I had seen.

Power Adaptor Replacment for Dell 600M

The equipment arrived on time, but sparse in packaging.

The adaptor works well with my Dell laptop, however, it does nothing to charge my battery. I cannot fault product in this area as I may have a bad battery and need to replace said item.

As described earlier, the adaptor could use a longer cord, but that is nothing to really complain about as past reviews have noted.

All in all, adaptor works fine for me in what I need..

I received my order today for several of these power supplies and the specification on the label says 3.34A @ 19.5V, or 65W. This does not meet the advertised output of 4.62A/90W.
