My older Dell Inspiron 1750 laptop needed a battery replacement.I contacted Dell and the replacement cost was $179.99.After I recovered from the sticker shock I decided to investigate Amazon.Much to my pleasure, but not surprise, Amazon came through once again. I purchased a new battery which works perfectly for $23.11 total cost. I've told many friends about my purchase and now I'm sharing it with you. Check Amazon FIRST for almost anything! It's well worth a few minutes of your time and the savings can be considerable as I discovered.

Battery arrived DOA (Dead on Arrival) with 0% charge. Plugged in the charger to charge it. No battery light came on and message said "0% Availability, Plugged in, Not Charging". Battery would not charge even after over an hour. This battery was completely dead.

Why would these people not check the quality of their products before shipping them and why would they ship out total crap. They might as well have sent me a piece of rock. Really unethical seller. Very disappointed and disgusted.
Hope they clean up their act.

Trojan Horse battery company

The 12-cell battery obtained from EPC failed suddenly shortly after purchase. EPC initially and rightly offered to replace it and issued an RMA. After returning the 12-cell battery I received (eventually, and after prodding) only a 6-cell battery. When I pointed out the error EPC did not offer to swap the 6-cell with a 12 -- instead they said they would repair the original 12-cell ...but at an additional cost to me. After I complained EPC eventually issued a partial refund, but I was still out over $25 (including my return shipping cost, which they also offered to refund but never did).
In short: EPC failed to do what they originally said they would (swap the defective battery for another one) and appeared to drag out the process hoping I would get discouraged and, well, give up. I certainly gave EPC every chance to make things right. Never an address, phone number or other avenue given for redress. Stay away from EPC. Signed, Ripped-Off.
