Concerned about the mixed reviews for this battery but attracted to the bargain price and free shipping, I bought this replacement battery for my wife's Toshiba laptop computer knowing that we could return it if it did not work and that it has a one-year warranty. Thus far, the battery works just fine and has given new life to my wife's computer. Apparently we're among the fortunate ones. If that changes, I will revisit this review and edit it accordingly.

I put the battery in and my computer said fully charged 100% then all of a sudden shut off after 30 min. When I turned it back on my computer said it recommended getting a new battery. Anyone else had this problem??

I have had this battery for almost a week now and I have had a good experience thus far. After reading the reviews for this product, I was concerned that it wouldn't be as efficient as I would like. The first thing I did when I got the charger was read the directions BEFORE installing it into my laptop. The battery is compatible and works great in my laptop. I get 2 hours and 45 minutes on the recommended settings. This was a great purchase!

Not Compatible with Toshiba Satellite L645D-S4030

This battery sold by USTOP is not compatible with my Toshiba Satellite L645D-S4030 -- even though the listing claims it is. Don't waste a penny on this battery. I am now out the return shipping on a defective product. Fortunately, I next bought an "Anker High Performance 5200mAh/56Wh" replacement battery and couldn't be happier. That one is compatible with my laptop and gives me more than 3 hours of service per charge. Don't waste money on cheap crap. Try the Anker battery -- it's less than half the price of an OEM battery, performs better, plus has a longer warranty. I couldn't be happier with Anker. I wish I had purchased from them the first time.
