I previously bought a $45 battery off amazon because mine wasn't working properly anymore. After trying to charge that one for over 30 hours-- it still didn't work. This one worked as soon as I put it in, and was a third of the price! It holds a charge just as long as my previous battery, about 2-4 hours. Great buy, thank you!

i got this for a laptop that is said it would fit and it did ..... it pluggedright in it will just not power my laptop... when i looked into it a little more seems it is commonly know that toshiba laptops have this probelm with off brand batteries

For the money you save, it's passable. The charge lasts a couple hours out of the box, which is fine for what I do. You'll probably need to buy another in a year.

Works Great!

I tried about three of the less expensive generic batteries that were much cheaper however they did not work. This may be due to a chip Toshiba may be placing in their computers that will not allow people to use other batteries that are not made by them. This does sound a lot like Toshiba. I found out that to get one from Toshiba that is a 6V costs $113.00. This is insane! I did find one that Toshiba does make and sells through Amazon that is a 10.80 V. It came charged and cost less than half of what Toshiba charges directly from the company. This battery is a bit taller so it lifts the computer up a but with I like because it makes it easier to see. It appears to hold a charge well and does not need to be charged as often as the 6V. It also has a one year warranty. I will keep you updated on how well it does in the future.

will not take a charge
