The battery on my laptop was giving me a whopping 10-12 minutes off electric. If you use a laptop you know how useful that is - not at all. Brought this replacement battery for my Toshiba laptop about 3 months ago. Did everything I was supposed to do; charging it fully, then depleting it, etc. But still only get a little over an hour before the battery has to be recharged again. You could get any battery that will last an hour for only a few bucks. Stay away from this one.

I bought this battery in September 2011 and it is already gone bad. I can't find who actually makes this battery since it is supposed to have a 12 month warranty. Doubt I will buy another one if I am only going to get 6 months out of it.

The battery is aftermarket but the that should be obvious given the price. That hasn't appeared to matter though (i.e. it's of good quality). I'm very happy with the battery and get ~4 hours of use out of it running the "balanced" power management profile.

I don't know how long it will work. Takes 8 hours to fully charge and only holds that charge for 2 hours. Reply from the company said that was normal for the first few charges??? Best price around.
