Poor quality rubber. Poorly soldered.

Within a few days the casing had come separated from the plug. A few days later I noticed a rattling sound in the box and had to shake it a few times to actually get it it to work. A few more days and the casing separated on the other end. Now, within less than a month, I've not a netbook with a dead battery and no way to charge it which leaves me with a paperweight.

Judging by these other reviews I may have got a dud but a dud I most certainly have.

Works great for my MSI Wind. This is my second replacement for the power cord. The first one from another manufacturer was much shorter and the cord would not stay in the brick. This one comes with the same length (or longer) as the original, and has a power light in the brick to boot. Seems like a quality product, plus quick shipping.

Top Quality Replacement AC Adapter/Charger/Power Supply Cord For Msi Wind U100-002US, 9S7-N01152-002 Netbook Computer

I purchased this for my U100-222MY, and it worked perfectly! (my model number was among those in the list in the product description).

The cord is long enough; the "brick" has a blue LED to let you know when it's plugged in, and all connections fit snugly and well. It charges my netbook quickly and well, and does not overheat like the stock one did. Also, it is better designed than the stock one and I do NOT think it will develop a short in the plug that goes into the machine, the way the stock plug did (the stock plug was not as well designed) Very pleased to find a reliable well-designed adapter like this!
