I'll take one more pass as it and then if it doesn't get better, ask for a replacement

The battery was about 120 days old when I got it according to the HP support utility. I needed to calibrate the battery using the utility in the support partition (ESC and then F2). The design capacity is supposed to be 5200mAh, The utility reports only 3702 or 71% of design cap. I'll take one more pass as it and then if it doesn't get better, ask for a return.

Got battery 2. Charge capacity 73% and it wouldn't even pass calibration. These are junk and they're not building these with the cells they claim they are.

Just to be clear, if the typical lifespan of one of these packs should be 3 years, figure on WAY less than that.

I just received this battery about 6 days ago. So far, so good. Anything was better than my original battery lasting only 45 mins on a good day. (From 2012) I have the Big HP Envy DV7 with the 17" screen and this battery lasts me between 2-3 hours which is expected for such a large laptop. I will say however, the battery isn't the exact battery in the photo (battery in photo is I=original from Hp and this is aftermarket). It does fit right and the right texture and color, but the battery is held inside by a black sticker and that I don't care for, but it's inside the laptop when attached so not a big deal. Above all, I am happy with this product and it's price.

Solid replacement battery for HP Laptops

Have been using this replacement for about a week after my stock battery reached the end of its life (couldn't hold charge for more than 45 minutes).

This is a great replacement, on a full charge you can expect about 3-4 hours of charge, depending on usage of course. If you run games/videos with high brightness, you can probably get about 2-2.5 hours. This is pretty good considering my laptop is reaching 3 years old, so it is obviously not as efficient, but is way better than the 45 minutes I was getting.

Fits perfect, shipped properly, great price. No need to buy anything more expensive. very happy with my purchase.
