The briefcase looks amazing and fits the description of the seller. The removable laptop bag fits my husbands 17" work laptop comfortably - the seller gave the dimensions for the laptop bag as 18 x 15 x 10 when I inquired. Front pocket is perfect for a variety of items and the interior is roomy and should fit the files he needs to carry. Excellent price for the quality - the pictures don't do the briefcase enough justice.

644-5 Deluxe Computer Bag Review:
The stationery compartment has adequate space for most purposes. The two zippered pockets present a problem. When I asked the company about their purpose, they stated that the pockets were for chargers. However, their flat design makes them quite unsuitable for this, and in any case (pardon the pun) the small pouch inside the removable computer bag renders such pockets unnecessary. It would be better either to make them into pouches like the one included for Blackberries, or to redesign them to accommodate documents.

The computer compartment contains a quality removable computer case. While it is not very thickly padded, it is large enough for a suitable hard case, like a Pelican, for those who want better protection.

The rear compartment, designed for files or clothing is roomy enough for a reasonable change of clothes as well as files (so long as they are not too thick!)

The side phone pocket is probably redundant. It would be too easy for a thief to steal the contents, because the flip top is secured only by a stud and can easily be opened and the contents removed with one hand, especially if you are pulling the case behind you. Anyway, most people carry their phone in their clothing or purse. If this feature was deleted, the extra leather could be used for a more suitable inside charger pouch as mentioned above.

The quality of materials is excellent. The fittings are strong and the leather comes up to a beautiful mid gloss after a few applications of conditioner. It would be an improvement to have all the zip fasteners interlocking, like the one on the computer section, but with security loops this problem can be negated.

In summary, a rather nice case with a few design glitches. Given that it pushes most airlines' linear dimensions to the limit, you should give the check-in ladies your most beguiling smile, but then it's always wise to do that anyway!

Carrie M.: We were so excited to receive the Royce Leather Rolling Laptop Executive Briefcase! We will be using the briefcase during travel to represent our company in a convenient, stylish approach. We are very pleased with this pruduct and highly recommend it for purchase!

Chad N.: The leather briefcase looks and feels better than what you see in the picture. There are ample space for all of your travel needs like document that you need to take on the road, stapler, business cards, calculator, charger, any other stationary like post-it notes, etc. The best part is the removable computer case . . . it's a case within a case. I'm planning to use this bag to carry my portal printer, USB flat screen and laptop on my next international trip. Thanks again and would highly recommend this rolling bag as it looks and feels nice. It would definite give a good image of the bag owner.

I work as a courtroom attorney, and every other attorney has the same boxy black case, with top flaps. Those are probably more utilitarian for throwing in legal files, but I wanted something a bit more sleek and attractive, and this one fit the bill. It has plenty of room for files and office stuff, and other nooks and crannies to put pens, clips, post-its and things like that. A large improvement over my previous method, which was to put document boxes on rolling carts, only to have them overturn and spill on the escalator. I sent one of these to my niece, who is just graduating from law school and starting her first job, and she is just thrilled, saying, "It's perfect!" It also looks like it would work fine for short trips.

I spent quite a bit of time searching for a wheeled laptop bag (I.E. Pilot's case). I have been traveling and hauling around a backpack full of equipment and after months of this, I was looking for an alternative. After looking at several bags of this type and reading reviews here on line, I purchased the Royce Leather Pilot/Catalog Computer Case 629-5.

The product looks great, construction appears to be very good and it feels like leather (so many of these products are really leather-like, aka Vinyl and plastic). Draw backs. There is a fixed outside pocket on one side of the case and a small, removable, looped pocket on the other side of the case that is held on with a snap fitting. The smaller outside pocket is small and I wouldn't put anything of value in it, because someone could pull it off. I would much rather Royce put a fixed pocket on both sides of this case - maybe one with a flap and one with a zipper? or better yet, both with a zipper..... This is personal preference. However, when traveling, more storage is always better than less.

Inside the case are two standard items. First, there is a tote bag that could easily hold cords or small accessories. This is a good product. Design was good and its a good fit. Second item was a removable laptop case. Not a big fan. The last time I saw a lap top thick enough to fit inside a case with this dimensions, was back in the 1990's. This case could easily hold an encyclopedia. I would not use this for my laptop. I would be afraid that the laptop would move around way too much inside this case, and as a result, I don't find this to be good value. Its way too large and it takes up 1/2 of the room inside the wheeled Royce bag.
