Sleeve case for MacBook

Overall I really love the case. Having it just makes me feel better about bringing my laptop with me in my backpack. I would always like a little bit more protection but of the few covers I have looked at this has offered the most protection. That being said, it is my opinion that the shell thick enough to offer most from shock absorption. However, it does keep the dust off the laptop and the inside is nice and soft to prevent against scratches. I use this on a daily basis coming to and from campus. I put my mackbook in there knowing that nothing will happen to it, even under the weight and pressure of my books. I can pull it out knowing that it's been protected.

Pros:
Good Protection against shocks and scratches.
Waterproof Heavy Zipper which does not snag after daily use.
Soft interior and zipper does not damage laptop inside case.
Fits my MacBook Pro 13-inch well and easily get in and out
Air Mesh fabric inside allows to breathe and no overheat MacBook
Not loose so that my Mac not sliding around inside.
No need to remove MacBook from case to work on
Power plug can fit between zippers to charge computer while inside.
It meets TSA guidelines and laptop does not need to be removed to go through screening

Cons:
Kind of odd odor upon first opening. This aired out fairly quickly though, 1-2 days.

It serves its purpose and for the price you just can't beat it. Don't waste your money on those expensive Laptop covers!

Nice fit for my Mac

I bought this for carrying my new MacBook Pro 13 around my college campus. It fits my laptop perfectly and protects it in my backpack! I don't have to worry about scratches, getting banged around, etc.
Made of good fabric and with high quality. also zipper is waterproof that gives me a peace of mind to even carry this cover outside in rainy day and not to worry about my Mac getting wet.
Great product, certainly worth the price.

Perfect lo-cost protection for late-2013 MBP 15"

First of all before anything else, I'd like to point out that Borya K's video review was the tipping influence that made me decide to pull the trigger on getting this case. Up until now I've gone to Target and gotten neoprene cases for my old 13" MBP, but now that considerably more cash has been put into upgrading to a top-line 15", I need more protection. Borya K's video was concise and detailed enough to sell the Runetz to me. :)

I did notice some chemical smell when taking the Runetz out of its plastic cladding, but after an hour or so it was barely there and after a day, no smell at all (probably off-gassing from the manufacturing process collecting in the plastic).

This case is perfect for my use -- tucked into a laptop-ready backpack for study sessions at the local library or coffee shop. One thing that pleased me was that this case fits late-2013s even with a hard plastic shell case on it (mine is a Pearl mCover for the A1398 [late-2013 15"]). The combination fits so snugly it seems designed that way. No movement when zipped even when shaken quite firmly. I love Runetz's call on a water-resistant zipper for their case -- not all of us live where there's clear skies, and as a bicyclist and motorcyclist it's nice to know there's one additional barrier to water intrusion even if I get caught in a squall.

The quality construction of the Runetz that Borya K mentioned is spot on. It is substantial-feeling yet feather-light. The waffle-pattern foam shell is airy but supports the weight of the machine. The zipper takes a few uses to loosen a bit, but when it does, is smooth and bind-free. In conclusion I love this case, and would buy one again. It stays behind the screen when clamshelled open thanks to the straps.

Love this case! Use it for my Macbook Pro 13" (non- Retina). It just fits my Macbook very snuggly. I like that it doesn't slide around inside and the outer part of the case is semi-rigid which makes me feel comfortable that my Macbook is protected. I usually have it in my laptop bag and replaced my removable laptop sleeve with this.

Haven't used my Macbook in the sleeve in the open position but I'm sure that works fine, although the screen angle might be too upright. Since I simply need it for protecting my Macbook while in transit, it works perfectly for that.

Fit my MacBook Pro

I drag my poor Mac around quite a bit and it is definitely important to have a good cover for it. But I am not going to pay a fortune for one.

This is the perfect solution. It is light and feels sturdy. My MacBook Pro 13" fit fine. I have zipped it and unzipped it over and over and the zipper stays smooth. It is quick and easy to get the computer in and out (which encourages use). All in all it is a perfect inexpensive solution.

The only con was that it smelled a little chemically for the first day. But there is no noticeable odor now.

Nice sleeve I recommend it.

I like this sleeve. It seems to protect the computer and it was reasonably priced. I use it daily. It's not fancy but looks professional. If you want protection for the screen or keyboard when the computer is open this will not work without purchasing additional items. I think it suits my purposes though.
