Slimmer 15.4" Retina Macbook Pro Fits like a Glove

I thought I would write a quick review answering the question that I sought after most when looking for a new laptop case. My previous case was a bit thicker overall catering to previous Macbook generations that had a larger profile. With the purchase of my new Macbook I was somewhat nervous that any case I purchased would still cater to the larger, older Macbook generations; thus leaving some wiggle room when used.

As you can tell by the title, my skepticism was put to rest as my November 2013 model Retina Macbook Pro fits perfectly. No room for it to move while in the case at all.

Unlike my previous 'spandex-esque' soft case, the case itself seems to be a bit more ridged than I originally anticipated. The inside has a very nice felt fabric to protect the aluminum uni-body while the outside is composed of an attractive, strong nylon weave. The corners have additional padding to protect from any dings that might happen during transportation and the zipper itself.

It does not have an additional pocket for your charger, but then again it shouldn't...it's a case. That's what your bag is for.

Can't go wrong with this purchase!

I recently purchased a 13.3 inch late-2013 macbook pro w/retina and wanted to find a thin case for my notebook so I could slip it into my backpack without damaging the aluminum finishing. Read about many cases on amazon and how they're too big for retina display macbook. Decided to try this one out and am very satisfied. The exterior material is durable and has some padding while the interior material is soft so it won't scratch your macbook. Fits pretty snug with a little bit of space at one end (I'm guessing to also fit macbook air since those have slightly large body then macbook pro retina). The zipper layer is also separated by padding so that your macbook isn't just rubbing against the zipper inside the case. Doesn't have any pockets for accessories, but wasn't a problem for me. Highly recommend this case to those looking for something simple well fitted.

As the description says I have a Late 2014 MacBook Pro Retina. I stumbled upon the Runetz case after reading all of the negative reviews for the Case Logic sleeve. This is just a sleeve and has no accessory pockets available. The fit of my MacBook is almost perfect with very little space left over. Inside of the case, it is very soft and I feel that it protects my laptop very well from scratches. There is a border that covers the zipper so it will not scratch as well going in or out. All in all I would highly recommend this laptop sleeve.

Just perfect!

It fits my 13 inch retina display macbook pro jut right. I worried the zipper might come in contact with the edges of my laptop but they are padded and do not. The way this case is designed I keep my laptop in it all the time and just unzip to use during the day while it sits in the case for extra padding and protection. The case also protects the furniture. with the case open and the display up, the computer stays cool so there is apparently plenty of ventilation even when it sits in the open case the whole time. I just zip it up at night to keep it safe from my curious cat.

Exactly what I wanted

This sleeve/case fits my MacBook like a glove. I originally bought this item to be able to put my Mac inside my book bag when I travel and not have to worry about the aluminum getting scratched up. I also have my Mac in a hard shell case of its own and if fits perfectly still; so if you wanted to put an extra case for more protection it would still fit in this sleeve.
The only thing that could make it better would be a place for my to put my charger as well but I cannot make any complaints about it other than that.
I am very happy with this product.

I think this is a great case for the price, and it seems durable. So far it's protected my computer very well. However, I do regret ordering the light teal color. Fingerprints or any sort of "dirt" shows up EXTREMELY fast, and it already looked slightly dirty after a day or two of use. I would order this case again, but next time I would go with a darker color.
