Defective

Update!
Within 2 hours of my review, the company emailed me about the issue. Within 3 days of that, they had sent me a brand new bag. Very satisfied with the service & the new bag! Thanks!

I initially loved this bag! However, after a rather short amount of use the leather holding the top strap on has started to show considerable wear. I fear that in short order, it will tear off.

SO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM. . ., FINALLY PURCHASED!

I just received my bag approximately four days ago, so this will be my initial assessment. I will update this rating/review after I've truly road tested the bag. I currently live in Okinawa, Japan, so I thought it would take forever to get her; however, it took less than two weeks to arrive. The bag was well packaged, and was placed in a protective baggie for added measure. The bag appears to be well constructed along all of the seams and inside material. It smelled like you would expect any leather bag to smell; specifically, it didn't smell like chemicals. The bag was supple, yet had a rigid construction. I quickly applied "Leather Honey" to the bag, before trying to employ its use. After a 24 hour curing time, I was excited to try out the bag. I have a 17" Toshiba laptop that I travel with, and it fit into the laptop section of the bag (snugly, but it did fit). My regular laptop is 15.6", so it will allow me a lot more space. Once my bag was packed with the 17" laptop, the width of the bag was fairly restricted when accessing the other pockets/spaces; however, I have huge hands. It may be more manageable for someone with normal sized mitts. The outside pocket could fit quite a bit of accessory items, so this was a nice feature. In closing, I researched leather courier/messenger bags for approximately three months, and arrived at this purchase (based on reviews, videos, testimonies, and cross-checks from a variety of websites). So far, I am extremely pleased and excited about this purchase. I will update this review after a couple months of use.

Very nice bag but I received the wrong color

I ordered a black bag but received dark brown so I had to return it. Aside from being the wrong color the bag seemed to be very nice and well made. The leather and the hardware seemed very high quality. I liked it enough to order a second SZone bag from the seller. Also, the customer service is excellent. The seller saw that I had returned one bag because of the color and that I had ordered a second bag from them and they reached out to me to apologize for the initial mix up and to discount the second bag purchased. Can't ask for much more than that!!

Great Bag! It is great in every way

Great Bag! It is great in every way. Good Quality, good stitching, and most of all great look! the only bummer is that it doesn't fit my 15" MacBook Pro very well. It's too tall to zip the zipper. I did not let that affect the rating since that's not the manufacturer's fault. Just an FYI to those thinking about ordering. But I love the bag so much, I don't let that deter me from using it. I just do not zip it. Also, this would be perfect if you do not carry a laptop. If you only carry paperwork - this is a great bag as well.

The other reviewers who state that this product is "raw" or "unfinished" leather are correct-- but this is still a great item at a great price. All you need to do to "seal" this bag is get some Restolene or Bag Kote, and you'll end up with a slightly darker but still gorgeous bag. The products mentioned are inexpensive, and once used, this bag is a BEAUTIFUL bargain.

Great Bag

ThIs bag has all the things i like. Solid locking mechanism, fairly comfortable shoulder strap, a handle!!, and attention to little details in the styling. I really like how they have tried to double stitch / reinforce all the stress points in the design - it really does add to the longevity of the bag as it only need one week point and you can develop an issue. I would have liked some padding on the shoulder strap - personal preference of mine its not overly heavy anyway and the strap is nicely designed and strong. This is the type of bag the postman will use post apocalypse. Just saying be ready for it maybe buy your postman one if you want mail etc if there is a zombie problem.

Such a beautiful colour!! - The photos are entirely accurate it really is that exquisite to look at. Beautiful light tan that really shows the leather gradient perfectly and the toned stitching really add a subtle highlight that agin blends beautifully with the grain.

I really like my bags light these days and this isn't noticeably heavier than similar bags of this size that i have although it isn't the lightest. Its a payoff with the grade of leather and good hardware so i really can't fault it to much. In fact i have been using it lately and it has been the go to bag on official duty most when i works with my clothes for the day.

Fits everything i need which is usually just my computer, legal pad, and some room for legal papers if i need them - again i keep the weight down when i can but there is plenty of room left after i have loaded it up.

Overall great product, would have loved a padded shoulder pad with me just being picky but i really think its a fantastic product on the whole. 4.5 stars!

Product was received for review but the opinion... and the great bag... are entirely mine :)
