Classic Cut, Practical Pockets, Luxurious Leather

A truly classic cut and design with few nods to the modern technical life. The leather is pre-treated to have that supple, worn, well-loved look from the start, the "crazy horse" pattern seen on thick leather saddles, boots, and other sturdy leather goods. Indeed supple and smooth, and shouldn't need initial oil conditioning (although I tend to anyways).

Two exterior pockets, both full sized, semi-opened with a magnetic clasp, no side pockets, yet the main compartment is spacious and smartly arranged. The center area certainly would hold a 17" laptop, and the Velcro strapped divider pocket is approx. 15" wide. Side zippered pocket that extends well down, and on the opposite side, two open pockets and two leather loops for pens, capacitive stylus.

Handles have their rolled seams facing inward, and a snap handle closure. The shoulder strap has some very lengthy potential extension to it, bringing the case well below my hip bone (I am 6 foot, 175lbs). I did do the warm water blot test on the leather shoulder pad and the cotton pad came away clean.

Beautiful heirloom quality. I have been using this bag for the last 10 days and like it very much. The "dark brown" color is pure vintage, and this bag actually fit all my important stuff in it.

I learned something this last week too; had no idea what "crazy horse leather" was, until a little google searching helped. In summary, it is full grain leather (often used in saddle-making) that is made for use in tough conditions. Oil is applied under pressure to get the rugged finish, allowing the leather to hold up well in moist or dry climates. As the leather ages it will take on a distressed look and become very flexible, yet still keep it protective nature.

This bag looks great now, so I can't wait to see how well it ages. Fantastic.

From its reinforced bottom to the multitude of pockets, this bag has just about everything you need in a bag... including a wide, comfortable, removable shoulder strap that adjusts easily for about any height. It does have a separate laptop pocket and my full-size laptop fit inside that pocket perfectly.

My laptop is 15.25 inches from left to right, 9.5 inches from front to back, and just a hair under 1 inch thick. If your LT is about that size, maybe just a tad wider or thicker, then it should fit fine too. Even if more than a tad larger, the main compartment of this bag may be large enough to fit your device; here are the details:

* The main pocket interior cavity that can hold an item up to 17 x 12 inches (actually divided into two sections)
* The interior laptop pocket should be able to hold a device about 15.5 x 10 x 2 inches

Actual Leather, Perfect Quality, Beautifully Done (You'll Fall In Love)

You'll honestly fall in love with this bag the first time you open it up. It has that amazing leather smell, feels absolutely great, and looking stunning. I used this bag for business and it has plenty of space for any of your materials. The zipper is really good, sounds amazing when you open or close it. The bottom of this bag is really rugged however not enough to protect your belongings inside. Just make sure you do not drop this on the ground to be on the safe side. The shoulder strap feels good, the clips are great too, the handle strip feels good and easy to setup. You will love this bag when you purchase it. Here are my thoughts in a bullet point;

PROS:
-Actual leather and smells/looks premium.
-Plenty of space in and outside the bag.
-Zippers are really great!
-Bottom has a nice thick rugged layer, just don't drop your bag :).
-The stitching is nice and consistent.
-Gorgeous look and future proof (you can have this bag in 3 years and still looks great)

CONS:
NONE I found :)

CONCLUSION:
This is a high end bag without the high end cost. Don't get me wrong, spending over $100 is a lot. However, the quality you're getting is honestly a bargain. This bag can easily go for $300 and I have seen and purchased bags that are similar to this. I really love it and I honestly can say you will too. Enjoy your new bag :)

Still has that new leather smell which I'm sure will change over time. It is as large as I expected. I was very tired of laptop purses which claim to be able to handle a 14" computer and then I couldn't get it into it!. With this one I have stored both my work (14") and personal laptop (17", close fit) in this briefcase. I've even carried both at the same time which is a bit heavy and wouldn't want to carry for a long time. There is also plenty of room for the other items I wish to carry since this is also my purse, especially when traveling. The shoulder strap is critical as I want to be able to cross carry it through airports and such.
