handles starting to rip

For the price, I've loved this bag. But, I do not put a heavy laptop in it (just folders and sometimes books), and it is beginning to rip after a year of use. I don't regret buying because I've gotten a lot of use out of it. But if you want something very durable, this isn't the bag. Again, though, for the price it has done well and it looks great.

I purchased this for my aunt that travels infrequently with her netbook. This is a nice feminine, yet professional bag with a nice interior that adds class. It's not made out of "real" materials but does not look cheap by any means. This is a good bag for the occassional business traveler...when you don't have a budget to invest in more expensive materials. On the top end of inexpensive, for sure.

Very uncomfortable to carry, straps are not padded and not quite long enough to fit over the shoulder once the bag is full. I ended up returning it.

A nice bag for 16" laptop

My wife wanted a laptop bag that didn't look like a traditional laptop bag. We have a larger sized laptop and the smaller Solo bags were too small. This bag is right size. It's just large enough to hold the laptop and a few accessories, without being too tight or too large. The materials feel durable and it's a classic look. It fits a 16" laptop easily. It looks like a 17" would fit, but it would be a snug fit.

Very Cute and Functional

The bag is very cute and functional. It's a bit large but not overly so. I can keep my folders/files and laptop with my air card, cord, cell, wallet, pens, etc. The only issue is that it is very uncomfortable to carry. This is due to the weight of the bag and stiffness of the shoulder straps. I am sure there is a way to fix but I have yet to find it. I travel a lot for work so this bag would be perfect other than cutting into my shoulder.

bag handle is cracking

I bought this as a gift thinking it was a good quality bag. Within the first 2 months of use, the handle began cracking and ripping. The bag itself is very nice but it is not much use without the handles to carry it with. I am not happy with the quality and would not buy this bag.

no shoulder support

I found the size and pocket configuration of this bag ideal. But after less than three months of commuting and business travel, I threw it away because the handles were so ripped and frayed. No wonder because they provide no shoulder support whatsoever. The cheap handles makes the bag feel twice as heavy as a more supportive bag would. With just a laptop and some files inside, the bag dug into my shoulder painfully - not good when traveling for work.

Lovely but unexpectedly big

The quality of this bag is excellent, and the lining is beautifully red...the leather is strong... I havent used it yet to tell you about its durabilty, but it looks strengthy. The inside of the bag has places for your keys, mobile phone, card, pens, etc.

The problem is that it is toooooo huge for my 13" laptop, or even your 16" laptop...The picture shown did not totally give you the right perspective of its real size.

I am satisfied with it anyway, though I hoped that it was a little bit smaller

Now that I have used the bag to travel, i am loving it more than i first received it. It is very strong and i used it to carry my laptop and many other heavy things. And I am not getting used to its size... i've seen bigger ones, so I think mine is not THAT big after all!
