The best of both a briefcase and a bookbag

The best bag! I work in an office and need to look professional, but I also ride a motorcycle most days to work. So I needed a brief case to look the part, and a book bag to hold it securely when riding. This bag is the best of both styles of bag!

Very sharp looking convertible bag

This is a really nice, convertible laptop bag. It is made from a durable charcoal colored fabric. A lot nicer material than most laptop bags or backpacks.

The two pockets on the front are roomy. Inside the larger one is pencil slots and card slots. The smaller one has a separate storage area on it that zippers - plenty of storage space with this bag!

Inside is a large attached pocket that you can slip your laptop into.The front of that pocket is padded very nicely to give extra protection. On the front of that pocket is another pocket that would fit smaller chromebooks, tablets, etc. There is a strap that attaches to the pocket with velcro to keep your devices secure. Aside from that pocket, there is more room inside the bag for books, files, whatever you want.

You can carry this bag 3 ways. As a backpack with shoulder straps, as a briefcase with the short handle, or as messenger bag style, by using the extra strap that is included.

The straps for using as a backpack are nicely padded and the messenger bag strap has a nice padded area as well, for your shoulder.

When you're using it as a briefcase, you can unhook the backpack straps and tuck them into a zippered compartment on the back, along with anything else you want to put in there.

All of the zippers are very sturdy and well made. When they are zipped closed, they are actually covered with material, so you do not even see the metal zipper tracks. It allows for a sleek look.

This is a sharp looking bag. Very modern looking and very functional. There is a 5 year warranty! I do not imagine this bag deteriorating with 5 years though - it is very well made.

It is a great choice, especially if you carry multiple devices, or have the need/want to switch carrying styles

love the pockets

Edit: After using this bag for almost a year it has held up spectacularly. A+ purchase, I only wish it came in more colors!

Pros: love the pockets, there is enough space for everything you would possibly need for your day. I'm traveling soon and I was able to fit my MacBook retina 15 in laptop, surface pro 3, kindle, 3ds, Samsung galaxy note 3, passport, wallet, pens and pencils, and chargers for everything. It's all neat and organized with room for more if I need it. The bag conversion will be very useful on the plane since I prefer messenger bags but find them cumbersome in the small aisle. All of the straps seem sturdy and I have no fear of them breaking while I move about although the handle for carrying it like a briefcase came a little frayed on one side. I like that there is a strap to keep my laptop from shifting around too much and although the padding feels a little thin to me it's more that enough to keep my laptop safe from everyday bumps.

Cons: my only real complaint is the fabric. The entire bag is made of this scratchy, coarse canvas fabric that is very unpleasant to touch and is about as noisy as your average raincoat. I don't know how well it will hold up over time, but it feels study enough. The zippers got caught in loose threads from their inseam twice since I got this bag five minutes ago, so if there is a part that is going to fall apart I would bank on these. The padding on the backpack straps is very cushioned, which I like, but is also very scratchy and irritating to my skin. I would not recommend it for use on bare shoulders, but that's were the other carry forms come in.

All and all I am happy with my purchase and look forward to using this bag.

When you open up the main compartment of this case you will find a section that can accommodate up to a 15.6 laptop. It sits nicely inside a special pocket that is thickly padded. On the outside of that pocket you will find a smaller pocket with less padding that is designed for a tablet. You can actually fit multiple tablets in there if you need to. It can fit any size tablet because they made the pocket extra large. On the outside of the case you will find two generous sized pockets. Those pockets cover the entire front of the case and one of them is twice as large as the other one. One of the pockets is just plain inside and the other one has two pen holders and four different pockets for notes, business cards, receipts, flash drives, memory cards, cash or credit cards.

This case is made of polyester and is dark gray. It looks very professional and is good for business or casual use. You will have good options when it comes to how you will carry this case. You can carry it like a regular briefcase or you can attach the included shoulder strap if you like to carry it that way. You can even convert it to a backpack by unzipping the straps on the back of the back and clipping them into place. When converted into a backpack it feels comfortable and natural to wear. The straps are strong so no worries about your expensive laptop crashing to the ground. When you want to convert it back to a briefcase then you unclip the straps and push the straps back into the pocket and zip it up. They you would never know that it wasn't a regular briefcase. This would be perfect for those that take the subway or bus to work or even walk to work. In any of these cases you would have the advantages of both a backpack and a briefcase all in one.Read more ›
