Ditched the Backpack... Much Easier While Travelling

I use this bag while frequently traveling in a technical presales/consultant role. It's great for quick day trips and for visiting customers around town. This conveys a slightly more professional image. While travelling in airports I have found this is more convenient because it stands by itself in front of you while you're sitting down waiting to board the plane or eating with colleagues. However, backpacks are great because they free your hands if you are moving/running from one location to another. It's not a deal killer either way - but it's not something I thought about. I bought the bag to save my back from the ridiculous weight I was putting in my backpack. I was surprised that it was easy to transfer everything to my new bag when I first bought it. I'm equally surprised that a year later... the bag is still working very well. I resolved myself to buying a replacement if it didn't hold up. It has quite well. The handle is slightly loose, but I've traveled frequently and roughly with it.

UPDATE: Dec 2012 (2 1/2 years... ) 220,000 air miles and several International trips later still appreciate this bag. Have pulled out the black shoe polish a few times to liven up the finish from the abuse. The lining on the inside of the front pocket eventually pulled from the stitching but easily fixed with a little project glue. For the first time saw another traveler with another bag that caught my eye that will consider when this finally breaks. Very nice looking leather Samsonite. Have seen other bags with more room but the profile on this is perfect for flights, at least for me. Carry 16" laptop, iPad, couple moleskin books, chargers for iPhone and laptop, pens, cards, car usb charger (for rentals...), and either a newspaper or novel.

It took me a long time to find a rolling computer bag that looked durable, professional and wasn't so big I couldn't use the shoulder strap and carry it when going up and down stairs. I love this bag. The quality is great - it stands up to multiple trips into the city each day (pulling it through NYC, over the curbs and across streets, it's easy to manage) and it looks fantastic. Very professional and lots of storage room. High recommend it!

Perfect for every day use!

I wanted a rolling computer bag which was somewhat lightweight, durable, easy access to my computer w/ plenty of extra space for my everyday odds & end that I carry for work & home. This bag met my needs & expectations. I purchased it in Jan this year & it's still going strong. Been to London, UAE, and everyday to the office. Wheels hold up well, telescoping handle glides easily up & down & all zippers are still going strong.

Also nice to just grab the computer sleeve (w/ computer inside) from the bag when going through TSA security lines @ the airport and put the entire sleeve in the "tray" and then slide it right back in the rolling bag on the other side of the security line. Eliminates having to take computer out of the sleeve and then getting it back into the sleeve which goes back into the bag (especially when you may have other non-electronics in your sleeve that don't need to come out for TSA checks.

I purchased this case because my back was no longer enjoying lugging a large laptop computer, plus file folders, books and other items to and from court and between two offices. The first thing I discovered was that there was not a great deal of room inside considering the size on the outside. If one uses the computer protection insert there is almost no room for much else. The handle by which one pulls or pushes the case is quite short and it is slightly too short for me, at 5' 10". The big problem is that the wheels, wheel bearings, axles etc. are falling apart after only six months moderate if daily use in an American city. I was temporarily able to fix one of the wheels with G
oop to get it back onto the sleeve which turns around an axle but the wheel itself is deeply scored and looks as though it is going to break up very soon.

This bag is so cool. The leather is soft and supple and the case looks very professional. It has two really big, deep pockets on the front, and on top of those, there are two small pockets! I love pockets! Inside, you have three dividers and a laptop sleeve. Where the telescoping handle (which works better than any I have experienced in the past) is there are two more pockets. I keep a couple of bungee cords in there, in case I want to bungee something to the handle. Those pockets are also great for laptop cords. This is a great bag...I wish I had bought it first, instead of the cheap one I purchased before.

I love this roller bag, it has saved my back a ton of grief and is durable and fits wonderfully under airline seats. It does have a tendency to tip over, due to the way that it is weighted but other than that I love it. Handle and wheels have held up really well.
