LOVE THIS BAG!

I was actually looking for the Jordyn Tote but saw this one and loved that it has small pockets on the outside! This is great for traveling and having a pocket on the outside for me is a huge plus. The handles are long enough to fit on my shoulder and I'm 5 foot 9. I can fit my laptop and my iPad as there is a padded compartment for both. In addition, there's room for my notebook and a couple of folders too. There's the usual pockets for pens, post-its, business cards, etc. I am looking forward to traveling with this bag. It's lightweight and has everything you need, plus it's very professional looking. I don't think you'll regret purchasing this bag. Well done, Samsonite!

Exactly what I was looking for....professional looking and very practical

I have been looking for the perfect work bag that can carry a laptop without looking bulky. This one meets the need and looks quite nice. It is quite roomy inside and has well constructed pockets all in the right places. It has a small padded pouch besides the computer compartment that could fit an ipad which is just ideal! It is well worth the price. The handles are of perfect length; they fit over my shoulder very well. If I have to nit pick, I wish the material for the handles is leather or something nicer but for the price, I have no complaint. The handles look well made as they are.

Excellent as a laptop bag, avoid excess weight!

This bag is awesome. Professional-looking, lots of pockets and organizers, and a zip-top to cover all your important electronics. The phone compartment is fairly large and fits a Nexus 5 smartphone perfectly. The only downside is that if you've got a heavier laptop along with other items to carry over a large distance (as I do), it's a big strain on your shoulders to use it as a shoulder bag. With a detachable cross-body strap, I'd give it 5 stars.

Very nice, decent quality, uncomfortable, thin, hard straps.

This is an attractive bag with inside and outside pockets that are easy to use. However, the straps are very thin so all of the weight of the bag rests on a narrow strip of your shoulder. I've used this bag a lot over the years and have carried it around loaded with work often. It becomes uncomfortable very quickly. I've used it for a few years now and it is beginning to wear but not excessively - so quality is ok but not fantastic.

If you are not carrying a large amount very often the bag will be perfect, but if you really need something to transport a computer and files frequently you may want to think of getting something with wider, more comfortable straps.

Nice Bag

Shipping was quick. The bag's appearance and size is as described. It is just a bit larger than most laptop bags, which works well carrying books etc. It appears well-made, however, I have noticed a stray thread or two on the handle. If not for that, I would have given it 5 stars.

As a college instructor, I find that this bag has convenient compartments and lots of room for everything I need to take with me: textbooks, class files, markers, IPad, lunch, whatever... An added bonus is that the bag itself is fairly light, nice looking, and easy to keep clean.

Meets All My Expectations

Based on other reviews and the product description, this bag seemed like something I could use. It meets all my expectations. It is roomy enough for my teaching supplies and 15-inch laptop, as well as very professional looking. My laptop fits very securely. The smaller inside pockets are great-I love being able to find small things like pens right away instead of rummaging around in the bottom of a bag.
